Day 11 I worked on and submitted a design proposal for an open illustration callout. Day 12 was mainly life chores and also a day job shift. Day 13 was a big tidy up of my flat and also running birthday errands!

Bundling days 8 and 9 so I can catch up 🫡 Despite forgetting to post I was still productive! I filmed content to promote my mail club and applied to more art markets ⭐️ Also tidied and cleaned my flat and visited my mum for a catchup

Got the postcard prints that I’ve been working on since day 1 ordered! Felt lime such a relief and such a rush of dopamine getting that done that I did a bunch of other tasks too. Did a day job shift, and also streamed again for the first time in years!

Did some file prep for printing some illustration work, read more of my current book and worked on some of the exercises in it (it’s on nervous system regulation). Also did a shift at the day job.

Did some print tests for this postcard illustration I’ve been working on. Need to tweak some colour stuff but I’m fairly happy with it

Decided to start 100 days of productivity. Today was spent trying to finish my latest illustration piece that I’ve been procrastinating on. Why is it always the finishing that’s the most difficult?

Those artists who are so passionately consumed by their muse (whether that be a specific fandom, a colour, and particular motif) that they just churn out art, upload it to one (1) particular social media that they like and then immediately forget about it in order to get back to making art of their “thing. Yeah, how do I have what they’re having.

Recent pet commission for a friend of mine! This is their partner’s dear departed kitty Colin. They wanted me to reference a photo where he has his head in a slice of bread, as well as including crinkle toys, sparkles and his fave mouse toy. They were so happy with the outcome and so am I 🥹
