Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I know the holiday season isn't the brightest for everyone, but it's time to make the best of it. I have been dating my current partner for a month after ending a three-year long abusive relationship. I am spending my holiday season with his family as I start my entire life over. This is the safest place for me right now, and even though it's not ideal or even how I imagined my Christmas, it's better than what most have. And it's more than I could ask for. And it's just now starting to feel like Christmas. It's something I've had to work pretty hard for. But remember there's always a way. Don't let yourself fall. I fell into a deep depression this holiday season because of everything going on. Force yourself to get up. Go take a walk and listen to Christmas lights. Go listen to Christmas music. I prefer Pentatonix, but everyone is different. Be your own best friend. Do what you can to make the season better and enjoyable for you. And don't forget that my inbox is always open. Have a happy holidays, and do me a favor by taking care of yourself 💗
