This just absolutely broke my heart... it's like my "older me" is talking to me.

Weepings of a Tiresome Soul

I am who I am.

And I guess that people like that.

At least, that's what they tell me.

They like me.

But I don't believe it.

At least, I don't think so.

Sometimes, I find myself wanting to be someone else.

I want to be her.

Sometimes, I just get sick of being me.

They like her more.

I can tell.

They don't just say it- they act it.

I wish that they'd do the same things with me.

But they don't.

Because I am me, and she is she.

I am who I am.

And I guess that'll never be good enough.

At least, that's what I tell myself.
