Post-season 2 Hazbin/The Substance crossover fic where Vox takes the Substance and younger Box Vox bursts out, thus starting the weekly tradeoff between Vox and Vincent. But as Vincent's popularity steadily increases while Vox stagnates at his post-crashout lows, Vox finds himself retreating from Hell's spotlight more and more, and then once Alastor takes notice of his preferred picture box being back Vincent takes over and locks Vox up so Vincent can be in control permanently, consequences be damned.

If you want a character to explore Alastor being caught in a relationship in which, against his will but by his own careless mistakes nonetheless, he is forced to remain in close proximity with someone he hates, subjected to endure and reciprocate unwanted physical touch with them, must unwillingly perform intimacy in private and in public, and is generally trapped with exploitive emotional manipulation, all while being absolutely helpless to do anything about it, the character you are looking for is Rosie.

Some people really do want Alastor to be Angel Dust and Vox to be Valentino and it shows

My delulu thought about s3 is that Amir held back saying what "close" looked like for Vox and Alastor in that one interview because he didn't want to reveal that instead of their arc being Friends to Enemies like most RS fans pegged in s1 it is actually Lovers to Enemies and he knows we will absolutely lose our minds during s3.
