The creature that enters never saw a bell on the door as they opened it. In fact, they never saw a doorknob or any way to open it, but as they moved their hand towards it, the door seemed to open on its own, obeying the creature’s thoughts as if this were a normal, everyday door activity. Well, telepathic doors are all the rage now. As the creature enters, they have difficulty getting their large body through the door frame. Societal norms ruining their day again.

Uhhhh the blog was made on September 3rd I think??? Just in time to go back to school hahah that was a smart plan if I ever had one. So Bleak has been around since then. Not even a year small sheep child. Wow. Concordia’s been around since November 8th and yeah that’s all I got. 954 and butterfly nerd have been around since like a week ago. And also there’s another character that’s been around since day uno and has been mentioned in passing once or twice but hasn’t been introduced yet. 8]
Bleak stared at the entrance to the circus, appearing to be in deep thought. Hunting in the same place twice was never a good thing, but she did have an awful lot of fun decapitating that guy on the roller coaster. Oh, but maybe it would be out of order if it was still a mess... And besides that, there was a certain someone she didn't want to get involved with. As the thought crossed her mind, she spotted that someone and almost immediately turned around. Yup. Best to leave now.
Cotton perks up when he sees Bleak, and quickly fades into lavender mist and reforms beside her, “Bleak!~ I am pleased to see you here again!” He smiles delightfully, “But! Not long after I had left you alone, quite an incident happened on our roller coaster. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that, would you?” His voice and expression isn’t at all negative, but his intent stare at Bleak may give off a different vibe.
“Are you stupid?” Bleak stared at the man in front of her, still not used to that strange way of disappearing and reappearing that he was so fond of. The gaze he returned her with almost made Bleak want to pull away. Well, she wasn’t lying, she was just avoiding the question. Her gaze more than eagerly broke away from his, her ears flicking in response. “Come to your own conclusions.”
“Besides, I’m not here to see--” Bleak paused, then frowned, her ears falling in a slightly aggressive nature. “Your name. You never told me your name.”
She wasn’t fond of people knowing her name when she didn’t know theirs. It felt like he had some kind of advantage. Plus it was just downright rude. Then again, she did forget, so maybe not so much as rude...
The biggest question Bleak had when entering a room was whether she wanted to break a window or just ring the god damn door bell. In this case, she compromised, and kicked the door open. Unfortunately, the door didn't break with only that amount of forcefulness. Should have put her back into it. Damn good carpentry. "Ah well... meal time."
Chris gripped the side of the table that he had been sitting at to keep his balance. He took a second to catch his breath before he made an attempt to study the person in front him. Person? They didn’t seem to be human with their long horns and animal-like ears. What did they say? Something about a meal? The comment suddenly reminded him of the pizza he had been occupied with until his door had nearly been shot of his hinges.
If it meant giving his dinner to whoever this was and making them go away, by all means.
He pushed the meal on the table towards her. “If it’s a meal you want… I suppose you can have mine.”
“Come on,” Chris urged, settling on the chair opposite. Lie? How did they know he didn’t have any ideas? They didn’t read minds, did they? “Humor me. I’ll tell you mine if you want? Name’s Christopher. And you?” He put a hand out to Bleak and tilted his head curiously.
He wasn’t very good at this whole lying thing. Then again, he probably didn’t need to be in most situations. He seemed like a regular, stand-up kind of human. How droll. Christopher. Even his name wasn’t all that interesting. She stared at his hand, then back at him, responding curtly and refusing to take his hand, “Bleak.”
“You’re terribly boring, aren’t you?” Bleak was pretty good at unintentionally insulting people. However, there was a focus behind the change in subject. “Let’s see... Perhaps if you can show me something interesting, I’ll spare you. That shouldn’t be too hard. I’ll give you five minutes.
Humor me.”

“What? You have a better idea?” Bleak frowned, giving in to her curiosity as she pulled away and sat down, leaning against the table casually. “Well, let’s hear it. Maybe there’s something going on in that brain of yours that makes it worth the delay in my dinner… or not…”
Bleak sighed, strongly doubting this guy would have any better suggestions. Still, it was never a good idea for her to insult someone’s intelligence. After all, she wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box by any means.
Chris gave a little smile, relieved. He hadn’t expected the other to agree, even if they were a bit hesitant. But it had been a lie. He really didn’t have any ideas but he had to find a way to get out of this. “Maybe, maybe not…” He muttered under his breath.
Should he run? Could he even do that? He was fast but this person might be faster. “But first, why don’t you tell me your name? It’s only polite don’t you think?”
“My name? What, on the off chance that I don’t kill you?” Bleak commented dryly, her doubt only growing as he asked her a completely off topic question. “I just kicked your door open. Do you really think I’m that concerned about being polite?”
Bleak grumbled something under her breath, then turned her attention to the window. “You shouldn’t lie to a demon, you know. Bad karma, or something. Or maybe it has the reverse effect...”

After a moment, she locked her arm around his neck in an all too familiar way for the following threat. “Don’t worry, I’m not very elegant. One quick jab through the chest, and you’re as good as cooked in my book!”
