yeah, i typically don't sleep with it in unless i think ill have to get up suddenly. it usually just takes a quick rinse under water to get any gunk off, and if all else fails or resources are short i can replace the surface using my epithet! so uh, short answer is yes.

how are u allowed to keep a jellyfish in jail???? have the guards noticed yet????? is the water thing you’re keeping it in, in the cafeteria?? cuz that’s the only place I imagine that’s be if you’re in jail. is the jellyfish a fellow criminal too????

woah woah, one question at a time.

first up, all jellyfish are criminals by default, that's just common sense. but no, for the most part, splunk wasn't in jail with me.

second, percy and i have a joint custody arrangement, so tax evasion's uh, "tank," was with her while i was incarcerated. she insisted on letting me see 'em, though, and arranged visits on tuesdays and fridays so i could look into a fishtank for five minutes! it uh, sounds pretty ridiculous now that i have it typed out, but y'know? welcome to life.

ehhh, some combination of the first two, plus figuring out how the hell im supposed to keep this jellyfish alive. percy isn't great at taking care of herself, but has been very helpful in the last area! and also lessening the impact of the first. cops like cops, and one particular cop happens to like me, too.
