@ask-ectoplasm-blog
During the summer I spent a couple of weeks drawing a BNHA character everyday, it was a very fun exercise to practice with different designs, most of them from the UA staff
U.A. Teachers Vs League Of Villains: Manga/Anime
“The Clones Hero: Ectoplasm.”
Just some more quick character study to better familiarize my hand with this fine fellow and his beautimous face, a love for it I do have. I could not draw that damn office chair to save my life and oh dear your head is too small….WELP
Eventually I will properly grasp how to draw teeth DIS GUY…
(This art is also largely inspired by @herolog-ectoplasm and perusing the all too lovely depictions of this guy on there!)

What's your regular day at UA like?
Tiring. There is a lot to do.
Starting at 8:25 AM, I actually have a few homerooms that I look after (since I am able to be in multiple places at once). They are from the General Education department - well-behaved, thankfully.
Usually, I teach 6 classes per day, and have 1 free period after lunch that I use to get some of my grading finished. Since I teach math to every department of each year, you can imagine that I end up with a lot of homework and tests to grade.
I do occasionally get some interesting days where I help with the students’ hero training, such as in the Gym Gamma. Or, when the they are taking their practical exams, I get to participate in that, too.
The school day ends at 4:10 PM. And usually I leave and go straight to my duties as a pro hero… Only to return home late at night and just grade more papers.

Sorry I haven’t been replying to messages or posting, have some bnha
I know you wear glasses out of costume. Do you wear contacts when in your costume? And how bad is your eye sight really?
I’m nearsighted. 20/600 vision (about a -5.50 prescription). Luckily my eyes are corrected to 20/20 with the glasses.
And yes, I do wear contacts in my hero uniform - it would be a disaster to have my glasses knocked off in a fight, wouldn’t it? My helmet also prevents me from having to worry about being hit in the eyes.
My vision has been this bad my whole life. So, as a baby and kid I was equipped with those oh-so-fashionable glasses with the strap on them.
What were your parents quirks, if you don’t mind me asking?
My mother had a fog-breathing quirk, while my father could split into duplicates of himself.
Do you have any favorite movies? Also, did you know that you can guess the % of a number by inverting the position of the numbers themselves? Like 2% of 50= 50% of 2 - :3
Ah, yes of course. A very useful formula - it’s Commutative Property, a rule meaning that the order in which numbers are multiplied does not change the product. Another way you can solve a percentage is by multiplying the two numbers and then dividing the product by 100.This is easier for more complex numbers.Let’s say if you want 18% of 60. Rather than think of it as 0.18 x 60…You multiply 18 x 60 = 1080. Then, divide 1080/100 = 10.818% of 60 = 10.8 ! Easy.……..Oh, I’m sorry. There was a second question? My favorite movie is probably Interstellar. I don’t watch a lot of movies, though.

He bows slightly in appreciation.
Thank you all for your compliments. My uniform, like many other heroes, was designed when I was young and in school. The helmet was the most important part for me to consider - it had to allow me to open my jaw as wide as possible for my quirk. I wanted it to accentuate my mouth and eyes, as well as protect my head. At the time I was designing it, Daft Punk was just beginning to become famous, and I do admit I took inspiration from Guy Manuel’s helmet... The bodysuit simply followed the design of the helmet. As for the trench coat, it didn’t always look as it does today. It was previously shorter, and had sleeves. If it is of any interest, I could eventually post a picture of what I looked like as a young hero.

Every big part I’ve seen with you in the anime, your always with people who have animal like quirks. Is there a reason for this or just a coincidence?
Animal-based quirks are rather commonplace. So, while they are all talented heroes, I would say it is more of a coincidence.
