Nice to see he always gets the guardian results in every quiz! Consistent Jedi/Paladin. I wouldn't say necessarily that he's quiet unless we're talking about his calm demeanor. He likes helping people so he goes out of his way to check on people, even strangers that seem in need. And he definitely stands out whether he wants to or not.

What career does your MC end up doing after school? Does it align with their dream career (if they have one)?
Does your MC have any secret special talents (it could be anything from writing music to being hyper flexible)?
How messy is your MC? Is their dormitory spotless, or covered in clothes and parchment?
Does your MC wear glasses, or a piece of jewellery they always have on?
Are they from Scotland/England, or do they have heritage elsewhere?
You can comment or reblog your answers, or do a separate post and tag me! But I'm so dreadfully curious about everyone's MCs π

1. What career does your MC end up doing after school? Does it align with their dream career (if they have one)?
Tori will be Auror! And yes, Tori and Natty basically decided to become Aurors after their fifth year (and to become way better than Officer Useless Singer)
2. Does your MC have a any secret special talents (it y could be anything from writing music to being hyper flexible)?
Being a gay disaster Tori can draw. My headcanon is that the sketch in the field guide is Mc's
3. How messy is your MC? ls their dormitory spotless, or covered in clothes and parchment?
Tori isn't so messy in general, but maybe her desk has too many things on it *cough like me*
4. Does your MC wear glasses, or a piece of jewellery they always have on?
Canon Tori wears just glasses. Modern AU Tori has a few earrings and an eyebrow piercing π
5. Are they from Scotland/England, or do they have heritage elsewhere?
Tori is half-British, from London, but she was born in Turin, so she is also half-Italian. She feels more British, but her Italian side shows and it is def louder π

1. What career does your MC end up doing after school? Does it align with their dream career (if they have one)?
After leaving Hogwarts, Felix doesn't quite land where he always thought he would. His goal has always been to follow in his Father's footsteps and become an archaeologist, ideally out in the field on proper excavations. Unfortunately for him, those positions are rare, competitive, and often go to people with the right connections.
So, Felix' Plan B was working in a library, which suited him well enough. He really enjoyed his time assisting in Hogwarts' library. However, the letter of recommendation from Madam Scribner did him no favours. Whether intentional or not, it closed more doors than it opened. π
So for now, he works at St. Mungo's as a front desk lady, a position Alsius helped him secure. Not his dream, and not something he'd ever imagined for himself, but it keeps him close to Als. That matters a lot to him. And it's stable, which gives him the freedom to wait for the right opportunity to come along. πππ
2. Does your MC have a any secret special talents (it y could be anything from writing music to being hyper flexible)?
... I bet some of his friends would shout if being charming counts...
3. How messy is your MC? ls their dormitory spotless, or covered in clothes and parchment?
Felix is a tidy person, though not in a rigid or obsessive way. Books are stacked neatly, parchment is kept in order, and anything he owns tends to end up back where it belongs without much thought. That said, he's not immune to clutter. If he's busy or distracted, things pile up for a day or two, but it does not stay like that for long.
4. Does your MC wear glasses, or a piece of jewellery they always have on?
He wears a silver whistle on a chain around his neck, a gift from Als. He rarely takes it off.
5. Are they from Scotland/England, or do they have heritage elsewhere?
Felix is Swedish by birth and spent his early childhood there before coming to Hogwarts in his third year. :)

Felix smells like cardamom, cloudberries, warm bread and sandalwood.
An extraordinarily exuberant Hufflepuff catches Felix in the Great Hall before breakfast has been served to the tables. This was his perfect opportunity.
Without hesitation, the young man made a running leap up, allowing himself to fall on his side and slide over the varnished wood with far more grace and finesse than heβd ever thought he was capable of. It all lined up exactly as heβd planned, the trajectory of his hops playing out just how they had in his incredibly impulsive head.Β
Robeless, and now a bit disheveled, the Hufflepuff came to stop directly in front of his target. He flashed the boy a wild grin, head propped against one hand and the other gripping tight a copy of Romance 101 at his hip. Breathless, he gave a triumphant chortle.
βDarling, are you on the menu? Because youβre looking like the main course.βΒ
The Ravenclaw looked up from the parchment he had been skimming and watched as a Hufflepuff slid across the polished wood with surprising grace. For a brief moment he simply looked down at the boy stretched across the table before him, wild grin in place and a copy of Romance 101 clutched against his side.
Then the corners of Felix' mouth slowly began to lift.
"Oh!"
The sound escaped him in a delighted gasp. His finger lifted at once, pointing toward the cover as recognition sparked brightly across his face. "Chapter six!" he said without hesitation as he leaned forward. "Right before the banana cream chapter! Ppage thirty-two, if I remember correctly!" The corners of his mouth lifted further.
"The food chapters were some of my favourites!"
Before the Hufflepuff could respond, Felix was already reaching into his satchel beside the bench. His own copy appeared a moment later. He flipped it open, his finger gliding quickly through the familiar sections as he searched.
"Hold on! Just a moment-"
The pages rustled quietly as he turned them.
Felix' gaze moved between the book and the boy on the table, as though comparing the Hufflepuff to the instructions printed on the page. When he found the passage he wanted, his lips curved wider.
"There it is."
He lifted the book slightly and cleared his throat. His eyes flicked up again to the lad spread before him.
"Why don't you let me sit on your face and then you can eat your way to my heart?"
The grin that followed was bright and unrestrained as he lowered the book again, clearly far too pleased with himself.
A little folded white origami goat sits on top of Felix's desk just after lunch. In the corner, as if shy and unimposing. Though it's a shame to unfold it, it opens by itself as soon as it is picked up.
"I have heard that your Patronus is a Goat. Did you know that some goats have a hereditary condition called myotonia congenita, that causes them to stiffen when startled and makes them look like they are fainting, hence their nickname Fainting Goats. It doesn't hurt them and they don't actually faint since they stay conscious. But it creates pretty funny situations.
Hope yours doesn't faint against Dementors, would you ever encounter one.
O.C."
And, as if bound by magic (is it really surprising ?) the Origami finds its shape again as soon as the paper is released from the soft hold of the Ravenclaw's fingers.
The folded origami sat neatly at the far corner of Felix' desk, small enough to be mistaken for a scrap of forgotten paper among his stacks of parchment and open textbooks. The Ravenclaw did not notice it at first. Only when he reached for the ink bottle did his fingers brush against the little goat that most certainly had not been there before. He hesitated, then nudged it closer with a curious tilt of his head.
Carefully, Felix' hands wrapped around the origami. The small goat was nearly weightless in his palm, but as he wondered at it's delicate nature the seams began to loosen. The goat's shape gave way, unfurling to reveal its amusing message.
Felix' eyebrows went up in appreciation. "Well," he said quietly, turning it slightly to catch the light, "that's a neat variation on the paper bird charm."
He took his time reading the message, a quiet spark of amusement settling into his expression at the explanation of the fun fact about goats. By the time he finished reading it, a quiet laugh escaped from his chest. "Poor things. Entirely conscious and yet betrayed by their own muscles."
He lightly shook his head, still grinning.
"If I ever have the pleasure of meeting you, O.C., I'll be sure to mention that goats have rectangular pupils which give them nearly three-hundred-and-forty degrees of vision. So they can see almost everything around them without turning their heads."
His grin widened at that.
"Very handy when it comes to keeping an eye on certain Ravenclaws. Right, BAAba?"
As soon as he let it go, the paper pulled itself neatly back into shape until the small goat stood restored in his palm. Felix held it there, turning it slightly between his fingers while resting his chin against the knuckles of his other hand, studying it with thoughtful ease.
He set the goat back in its corner, adjusting it gently so it would not topple, before finally reaching for his ink again. The smile lingering on his face stayed with him as he returned to his work.
Γ berg,
Did I send you a goat, by chance? Or maybe four of them? Can't find the damned things and Wes was insisting I sent you at least one, possibly under the wrong name.Β
If I did, keep it, by all means. It's only driving me mad that I don't know what I did with them.Β
-J
P.S. Update: Apparently I hid the other three. Wes said the lads wouldn't stop bopping their noses and the sound was like a dying cat. Apologies if I subjected you to the same horror.
Julian! So it was you!
Yes, one goat did, in fact, arrive. Under a name that is still, regrettably, not mine. :( (Though still impressively close enough that I didn't question it at first.)
In my defence, the envelope looked as though it had already been through several emotional breakdowns, and I was in the middle of preventing my scrambled eggs from becoming collateral damage. I realised my mistake slightly too late, I'm afraid.
Only after reading far enough to understand I should very much not be reading it at all...
I felt rather dreadful about it. It was not intentional. I apologise.
The charm is currently in safe custody. Assuming it was a postal error, and not knowing any Alix in our midst, I passed the envelope to a Prefect to be redirected properly. I hope I haven't disrupted your⦠herd.
So, if the charm has not yet returned to you, it is currently somewhere within what I very sincerely hope is a reliable school postal system.
For what it's worth, I can confirm the goat does, indeed, bleat! I thought it was rather sweet.
And before you ask: No, I did not bop it. β¦more than once.
Again, I apologise if I've complicated matters. Your craftsmanship however - even in what you describe as a less-than-sober state - is very impressive, Julian! The one-and-a-half horns might be my favourite feature. Though I can't help feeling slightly cheated at only meeting one charm so far.
Felix
P.S. Did you, by any chance, send one to Rupert?
A modest parcel arrives in the morning post. Attached is an envelope, crisp and pristine aside from the large red script with Felix's name (underlined) and the accompanying doodles of poorly drawn goats.
Γ berg, No, mate. I can promise, that was entirely intended for you. I don't think I've ever known any Alixs or Feburgs. As for the state of the envelope (which is back in my possession), I've got no clue what in God's name happened. I certainly managed to do a number on it. To be fair, you should've seen my room the next morning. It faired no better. I have to admit, I couldn't even remember what the little fella looked like until he found his way here again. I'm glad you liked him so much. I'm sending him back to you, along with his brothers. May your fellow students never know peace. Regarding Rupert, I've got a special, particularly annoying little niffler planned for him. Don't you worry. -J
Inside the parcel resides a returned goat charm, along with his three brothers.
One has no horns, his eyes veer two different directions, and he doesn't 'bleat' so much as he squawks.
The second has a head significantly smaller than its body, and the body is...robust, to say the least. His face seems almost accurate, even in it's tiny nature. He sounds a bit like a mouse.
And the third is... Well, it's something. It is a goat. Probably. It could also be a hell spawn of some variety. Three horns, incredibly uneven eyes, and it looks a bit like it's screaming in horror. This is where the dying cat comparison seems to come in to play.
Not long after the morning's earlier interruption, a second parcel fell from above, landing with a soft thud beside Felix' half-full goblet, causing a small ripple to disturb the surface of his pumpkin juice. He stared at the unexpected arrival with one eyebrow rising slowly.
More post.
"Twice in one breakfast?" Felix murmured, looking up at the enchanted ceiling as if waiting for further deliveries to rain down at any moment. His once-predictable mornings had, of late, become decidedly exciting.
He drew the package closer. This time, the (right) name was underlined so many times that it almost created a dent on the parchment. At least now he wouldn't have a guilty conscience about accidentally invading someone else's correspondence. Felix couldn't help but allow a small smirk to creep up on his face as he unfolded the letter and continued reading it.
"Honestly, Julian, you're impossible," he muttered. With a quiet shake of his head, he drew from the parcel not one but four bronze goat charms. The small herd clinked together in his palm, and he chuckled at their mismatched proportions and crooked little faces. Despite knowing better, his finger gently brushed against their tiny noses of its own accord. The panicked bleating that erupted shortly after was perhaps the first sign of his mistake. All four charms answered in impressively loud bleating, squeaking, screaming, and squawking.
Every head at the Ravenclaw table turned. A fork clattered somewhere to his left. Curious Hufflepuffs leaned sideways, abandoning their puddings to get a better look at the source of the commotion.
"Apologies," he said flatly to no one in particular, though the corners of his mouth betrayed the fact that he was not sorry at all.
He calmly picked up the charms, cupping each bronze creature gently in his hands before they slipped into the safety of his pocket. The squawking and screaming dampened once they were tucked away. A muffled bleat escaped from somewhere near his hip.
His eyes lingered a moment longer on the more robust charm. The chonky little creature with a suspiciously mouse-like cry. "I think you may be my favourite," he whispered. He turned it a few times between his fingertips before reuniting it with the others.
Felix finally rose, brushed a crumb off his sleeve and gathered the final bits of his belongings. He mentally noted all the while to invite Julian to dinner the next time they crossed paths. It felt only fair to return the generosity in some way. The Ravenclaw had gradually fallen back into its usual bustle with only a few curious glances following him as he made his way out of the hall.
He rested one hand lightly over his pocket to steady the restless cargo inside. The corners of his mouth lifted as he imagined the faces of Andrew and Alsius waiting upstairs when he would introduce them to the quartet.
One morning, as the owls start flying around, delivering mail in a mess of falling feathers and excited screeches, an unusually small Barn Owl with a missing finger and a crooked beak clumsily lands in front of you with a little brown letter in his beak. He nudges it into your hand for you to take it. Once you do so, the little bird takes off with a little happy chirp.
Inside the not even sealed envelope is a simple brown paper folded in four.
"Dear Felix,
We never got the opportunity to really exchange and properly introduce each other. And I am mostly to blame for my awkwardness when it comes to making new acquaintances. But I have heard much of you and your kindness. So I hope that one day I will have the audacity to come and greet you.
In the meantime. I wish you a lovely day.
Dearly, O.C.
The morning rush in the Great Hall was in full swing when the small barn owl crash-landed in front of the tall Ravenclaw, skidding slightly across the polished table before steadying itself. Felix blinked, lowering his spoon as the bird fixed him with a determined little stare.
"Well done," Felix murmured softly, careful not to startle the owl as he took the paper from his beak. His fingers gently stroked the feathered chest for a moment before the owl gave a small, pleased chirp and lifted off again with a wobble that made Felix track him instinctively until he cleared the rafters.
Only once the owl was safely airborne did he unfold the letter.
He read the words of the little brown letter slowly. "O.C.," he repeated under his breath, turning the initials over in his mind. He searched his memory for a face to match them, but found none immediately, though that did not trouble him as much as it might have once.
For a brief moment, he considered the careful tone of the letter. It struck him that it had likely taken a lot of courage for the writer to send it.
"I'll be here," he said quietly to no one in particular, folding the paper neatly once more before returning to his breakfast.
If O.C. ever did find the audacity they were looking for, he would make sure they found only an open seat and a warm welcome waiting across the table.
A mermaid lingers at the edge of the Great Lake, tucked between a rock and the brush. Her onyx tail swishes in contemplative motions. She sighs, a dreamy smile pressing into the curve of her palm as her cheek rests against her hand.
The object of her daydreams lies just ahead. Out of all the blonde Ravenclaws, the one with the easy smile and perplexing pick up lines had somehow stolen her heart. She might not understand the references the wizard made, but who pretends to understand the ways of the heart?
Sheβs told herself so many times to stay away, but what was love without risk?
Her heart propels her forward into the water as she slowly swims up to where Felix sits with his book open on his lap.
She finds her courage as she asks him,
βWhat is that youβre reading?β
The late afternoon light lay warm across the surface of the Great Lake. The pages in Felix' lap stirred lazily whenever a breeze passed over the water, and he pressed down the lifted corner absently with his thumb. From somewhere up the slope came the distant sound of students making their way back toward the castle, voices carrying faintly before fading again.
He had just reached the bottom of a paragraph when a voice rose from the water.
The Ravenclaw glanced up without a startle, closing the book lightly over one finger to keep his place. His gaze adjusted easily to the figure lingering just beyond the reeds.
A mermaid.
She was not the first one Felix had encountered along the lake's edge, though he suspected Nerida Roberts would be positively inconsolable to miss yet another reportable sighting. The thought tugged faintly at the corner of his mouth.
He shifted slightly on the rock, brushing a lock of hair back from his forehead before answering the lady of the water. "At the moment?" he said, tilting the book in his hands. "It's my all-time favourite."
'Romance 101' gleamed faintly in the sunlight before Felix opened it again, flipping back through a few pages until he found the one he wanted.
He cleared his throat softly and read, voice steady yet lightly amused. "I'm not saying I would swim across the ocean for you, but I'd at least dog paddle."
His lips twitched faintly at that, but he continued, page turning again.
"Oh! And this one was under 'bold attempts.'" A small breath of laughter escaped him before he started to read. "You can call me Nemo, because I'm never afraid to touch the butt. The tide will not be the only thing that's rising," he added, shutting the book gently and resting it against his knee. "It says here that these lines work particularly well near water."
He studied her for a brief moment as he waited for a reaction. "I don't always understand the references either," he admitted. "But I have been told confidence is half the charm."

An envelope nearly falls into Felix's breakfast platter during the morning post delivery. It's crinkled to hell and back, as its accompanying letter. Both are addressed to an Alix Feberg in red handwriting that is both familiar and sloppier than usual. There's a darkened splatter of what smelled like a smokey bourbon...hopefully.
Alix,
I know it's not quite Christmas yet but I made this a bit ago. Wasn't really what I was goin for. Frankly I'm pissed out of my mind right now. Give it another go when I'm sober. Thought you might like it though
Shifting around in the bottom of the envelope is a little bronze charm shaped like...a goat? Yes, it's definitely a goat. With a tiny body, a big head, one and a half horns, and bulging, lopsided eyes. If you boop its itty bitty nose, it bleats. At least, one would assume that sound was supposed to be a bleat.
Felix had barely lifted his fork when the crinkled envelope skidded across his plate, narrowly missing his eggs. Slightly startled, he caught it before it slipped onto the floor. But with his attention more focused on rescuing his breakfast, Felix, without thinking, thumbed open the already-loose seal.
A small object tumbled out first and rolled onto the table with a soft clink. The young wizard blinked and picked up a tiny bronze charm that was unmistakably shaped like a goat.
"Cute," he remarked, gently turning it between his fingers, the corners of his mouth turning up ever so slightly. The odd proportions made it look really adorable.
Only when he reached for the letter inside, eyes skimming the first few lines out of habit, did he catch the name written at the top of the page.
Alix Feberg.
His stomach dropped. That's not him. Not even close. Well, maybe a bit close, but still.
"Oh⦠no," the tall Swede murmured under his breath, sinking a little in his seat as a faint heat crawled up his neck. He hadn't meant to pry. The handwriting was familiar in a way he couldn't quite place, and he... well, he acted before thinking. His stomach churned with mortification. Reading someone else's post was practically a crime in some households. His stepmother would've lectured him for a week. A month probably!
Felix snapped the letter shut at once, as though it might bite him, and slid the little goat carefully back inside. A faint whiff of something like bourbon clung to the parchment, and guilt tightened uncomfortably at the base of his throat.
He really shouldn't be holding this. He especially shouldn't have read even a sentence! Another problem was that the Ravenclaw had absolutely no idea who Alix Feberg might even be!
After a moment's steadying breath, Felix rose from his seat, the envelope held gingerly in both hands, and glanced around the Great Hall, the embarrassment still lingering on his cheeks. A Prefect would know what to do. Hopefully one who wouldn't scold him too much.
He needed to get this to the right person. And quickly.
