Is this blog still alive? I know you're still around due to Ask the Editor, but I was wondering why this blog hasn't been updated.

(( hello yes im trying my best! a lot of my focus for my other blogs got funneled away to work on the capitola plot arc of askthe-editor, and that’s why most of my other blogs kinda died, but i’m planning on coming back to them soon! you might’ve seen on some of my posts on askthe-editor that my art motivation has tanked quite a bit given the general current events and also some irl obligations have been keeping me away from art more than usual. things have been/will be a tich slower than usual when updates happen, given limited time and energy for art, but updates will happen again soon! thank u for checking in btw!! ))

The Eldest’s knowing laughter had long since died and his voices grew low and grim, a rare moment of sorrow and solemnity falling across His features. Though He desired the power of Becoming for Himself, He couldn’t shake the feelings of wrongness that was associated with it, of violating the Piece further when imagining finally obtaining the Inheritance that should be rightfully His. The Eldest snaps the jaws of His iris around you, and you find yourself surrounded on all sides by teeth, tendrils, and tongues. They writhe and twitch, squirm and swirl, every movement wrong and uncanny.

Suddenly, you notice your existence, changing, very slowly, almost imperceptibly, but very tangibly.

Your hands and feet have started to melt like wax, dripping down and disappearing, the effect creeping further up your limbs, threatening the rest of your body. A tendril snaps at your back, pulling a piece of you off and removing it from existence, a sharp pain and blood filling the hole it made.

Piece by piece, and drop by drop, you disintegrate, pulled apart and utterly destroyed. Each moment seems to last forever, as pain overtakes what used to be your body, and the lack of time warps your perception. Every second, stretched out to centuries, is agony. Death follows, but never arrives, taunting you at a mercilessly infinite distance, as you suffer for eternity.

Arrogant and nameless mortals are less than nothing to Him, it seems.
