thegreatestbaggi: -Walks into your territory, has a bit of a look around, then looks down at you and your pack.- ... Nice place you got here.
Skar looked to the gigantic Baggi, widening his eyes as he took a single step back. "Errr, why thank you big guy, heh. I do try to be havin a nice lair... you're a big ol' Baggi, heh and...beat up...what happened to you?" He tilts his head, his pack peering from beyond the big grey rocks they hide behind.
"Well... I've been having an insomnia problem... could you maybe help me out with that? Just, you know, don't bite me or anything. That would end badly for all involved."
Skar glared at the hunter for a moment before tilting his head, then he shrugged. "Sure, though what exactly do ya be expectin me to do to help you?" He raised a brow at the hunter, his pack barking as they looked at him from behind Skar's legs.
AHH!! GREAT FATALIS SOMEONE HELP!
Blood in the Snow
The bird wyvern nodded before shifting his gaze to the side. “Well… Ol’ Skar is one to do that… heh…the big ol’ Barioth got me good I must say. It’s funny that you say other Great Baggis are the ones who be chasin the Barioths away, because it’s reverse for me and Ol’ Fang. I mess around with him and he goes into a rage and chases me across the tundra. Though… I didn’t do anything this time… I simply went near his mountain and found him sleeping. I stepped on a fragile bone by accident and broke it, then before I knew it the big ol wyvern swoops down and slams me against a wall. I tried to fight him…then he bit me in me thigh…that jagged tooth of his may be short but it hurts worse than the regular fang he has… heh… I’m just glad he was slowed down by me tranquilizer… and me pack’s… and that he isn’t as persistent as… Brutus…” He shivers at that name, a hint of fear being seen in his narrowed golden gaze, then he breaths out a sigh and slowly looks up at the young barioth.
Her eyes widened in shock at the revelation that Fang was behind the attack. Ohh, how she disliked that Barioth, ever since he’d treated her horribly as a cub. Ari listened to Skar tell his story, her expression indignant at Fang’s behaviour. If she were a little bigger… and, well, braver, how she’d teach that jerk a lesson. "One day he’s gonna bite off more than he can chew," Ari spat, realizing her mistake a moment later.
"P-pardon my poor choice of words," the Barioth said immediately, dismayed with herself. Sometimes she just didn’t think. Shaking her head slowly, Ari looked back at the alpha and cocked her head to the side at the shiver that ran over him. "Brutus? I…" Looking abashed, Ari’s gaze dropped to her paws, embarrassed. "It might just be youthful naivete, but… who is Brutus?" If Brutus was able to make Skar more fearful of him than foul-tempered Fang, then he was a wyvern she definitely did not want to encounter…
Skar looked to the young Barioth his eyes still showing fear as he then lets out a low growl before he spoke. "Who is Brutus? Only one of the most ruthless, vicious, savage, murderous of wyverns. A Deviljho who roams the land, devouring any he can. He's bigger than any other Deviljho, at least that I've seen. Twice as big as any other Deviljho, at least! He's covered in scars from his prey trying to fight him, but failing miserably. He hunts all, especially me... angry because of me putting him to sleep and escaping him...Fang... is a saint compared to that-that...MONSTER." His voice was filled with terror as he shook a bit. Then he tried to calm down as one of his pack members hug him. He shook his head as he swallowed once and gave her a faint smile. "Heh...d-don't worry if you be insulting Ol' fang. He's a grumpy ol' fisher who gets a bit mad at those who be 'trespassing' on his 'territory.' A big old cat who has issues. Heh." With that Skar rolled his golden eyes before shaking his head, tapping the ground with his right hand, allowing the tip of his short, broad, and yet sharp claw digging into the snow as he makes a circle with it.
Skar watched her closely, the young Barioth being a smaller beast than he expected. Slowly he took a single step towards the flying wyvern, his golden eyes narrowed before he opened his fang filled mouth, breathing out a cloud of frosted breath. Then he closes his mouth,...

((bluh, I think my highschool headcanons for Yeng Fey, Nyx and Aurora are a bit plain.))
(( I think they're fine. ))
Skar emerges from a fog of snow and wind, limping as large holes on his thigh trail with blood that is left behind in foot prints. His pack follows close behind him, trying to cover up the blood quickly as they looked around. Then he goes just before the entrance of his cave lair, not noticing the young Barioth nearby, that is before his pack, after trying to clog up the wounds with snow, bark at her, making him widen his eyes as he looked over and growled softly, standing up and stepping back.*
It had been a pleasant sort of day; calm, and quiet. The perfect day to just lay around and do nothing. Ari had been dozing off and on, keeping a wary eye out for anything prowling through the snow hoping for an easy meal. She was curled in her usual tight ball, blending in fairly well with the snow, but she still had to be vigilant. Not when one was living in the tundra, a land famous for its harsh climate and equally harsh inhabitants. The area she was resting in reeked of Baggi, but it was so faint that she figured the pack was out for the day and wouldn’t return until dark.
It was getting close to dusk when Ari picked up the scent of blood on the wind. Her eyes snapped open, the young Barioth raising her head off of her paws and scanning her foggy surroundings. An injured wyvern was very likely to see her as a threat and attack her, and the last thing she wanted to do was get in an unnecessary scuffle.
She had almost leapt to all fours when the Great Baggi emerged from a swirling mix of fog and snow, strewn up by the wind. It was clear that the alpha was the source of the blood she’d scented, and seeing the Baggi appear made her freeze where she was. Maybe it would just ignore her as it went into the caves she’d settled near.
Ari watched morosely as it limped closer while its pack hurriedly covered up its bloody trail, trying to make herself as small as possible in the snow. Perhaps it was her shifting, or just good eyesight, but one of the smaller Baggi let out a bark as it spotted her. The sound drew the alpha’s attention to her, a growl rumbling from the bird wyvern as it stepped back warily.
Very slowly, Ari stood up, keeping her posture low to make herself look as non-threatening as possible. "I won’t hurt you. Sorry for coming this close to your den, I didn’t know…" the Barioth said in a quiet voice, hoping to escape this without incident. Part of her yearned to help as her eyes drifted to the alpha’s bloody wounds, partially covered by hastily packed snow, but she didn’t want to press her luck when it was feeling threatened by encountering a predatory wyvern.
Skar watched her closely, the young Barioth being a smaller beast than he expected. Slowly he took a single step towards the flying wyvern, his golden eyes narrowed before he opened his fang filled mouth, breathing out a cloud of frosted breath. Then he closes his mouth, tilting his head. He didn't narrow his eyes to glare at her, well mostly. It was to try to see her better through the swirling mist of snow mixed within the frozen wind. Then he spoke, his voice being some what in a deep medium tone, a obvious accent of what could be described as Norse with in his voice. "A...YOUNG Barioth? ...Not what I was expecting, with the startled bark of me pack.... don't worry... I'm not going to be chasing you... unlike some wyverns, I don't be mindin a little bit of company, just as long as you're not bein here to steal my food... which I highly doubt it...-" He lets out a growl as he winched in pain, shifting his gaze towards the Baggi trying to pack snow and ..rocks? ...in the wound. The Baggi hunched down. "Sorry Skar..." The small wyvern said, before Skar lets out a fogged breath, grunting as he decided to lay down. " ...It's fine...just plug up those ol holes... I can't be bleedin everywhere... it'd bring...him...right to us."

Super cool people will do it from their character’s point-of-view.
(( I decided to draw some eyes, the top one is Brutus's eye, Middle is Fang's eye, and bottom is Skar's eye. ))
Grrraah...Skar. *The massive Deviljho snarls, looking down at Skar.* Great Fatalis...B-Brutus!? *Skar quickly runs away, the Deviljho smirking a fang filled grin.* (( Muha ha ha! You can now ask Brutus the Deviljho, all you have to do is say his name and then your question. You can also talk to Fang, the Barioth. )) AH! Why mun why!? (( Muha ha ha! ))
"Excuse me, Mister Skar," Zin said calmly. "I have a slight question. Why is it that your... minions are good for little other than barking? I remember back when I lived exclusively in the tundra, there were times I was kept up at nights by that incessant noise..."
I don't be knowing why the wee ones bark all the time, but they're good for scaring prey. Though me thinks that they like using me as a jungle gym a bit too much. Though, they ARE youngins. But you've got to admit, they're not as bad as those yapping Jaggis.
Heh, I didn't realize there were actual wolves around, I heard of Stygian Zinorges, but never of Midogarons.
