Hey! Cupid here.

I'm a hero, working for the @ask-hermitcraft-hero-agency. My co-workers... well, there's @askhourglass, @ask-hotguy, @ask-herocles, @ask-bloodmoon-heroagency, @ask--stargazer... I assume there's more. I don't work in this part of the city as much so I don't know everybody.

My pronouns are he/him!

I'm part blaze, so stay away from my hair. It may be pretty but I don't want to use any of my healing equipment on silly fans.

This is a hero au version of TangoTek, specifically his secret life and the heart foundation! Cupid is a healer, and also a bit of a flirt to those around him.

*He remembers now. Its a little... fuzzy. But he remembers enough to be embarrassed. All of what he said, the hallucinations, asking for help again.*

*He relaxes back into the bed and holds back tears, not yet noticing Grian.*

Taking a nap. He was working on you for a while. Wasn't a pretty sight when he came out, so he showered and went to sleep. Why?

*He looks over himself, inspecting any new stitches from whatever Doc did. He's sore but feels significantly better.*

So, the premis is that theres these little animals called Pokémon. Pocket monsters. Well, some are big. But you catch them in balls! And you fight other people's Pokémon with yours!

Do they like being captured? This sounds like dog fighting... oh, theyre so cute!

*Cupid's tail swishes lightly to the music and he looks intently at the screen.*

Yeah, if they didn't they'd break out of the balls. The fighting makes them stronger! And they never die, you just take them to a nurse and they get all healed up like nothing happened.

*Grian opens the screen to show what Pokémon he currently has. He has a Torterra, Luxio, Dustox, Raichu, Gabite, and an Eevee. Which he shows off individually. Each are nicknamed with silly names.*

That's awesome! It's cool that they heal up that easy. So you meet up with other people who have teams of these poh-keh-mon and fight them for fun?

I didn't know coms could run games like this! Mine just holds schematics and stuff like that.

Yeah! And when they get to a certain level they evolve. I can show you a fight right now?

I dont think it's redstone? Its electronic, I think. Its called a DS, and it can play all kinds of games! Apparently its outdated, though. Time travel shenanigans.

*Grian exits his inventory, walking through some tall grass in the overworld, and quickly entering a fight with a wild Pokémon. A magicarp. Battle music plays off the DS.*

I like that one. The fish. It's cute!

Mhm, its a Magicarp. And it cam evolve into a really big dragon. But we gotta catch it first.

*His Torterra is sent out first, and he almost by instict opens up the attack panel.*

Each pokemon is a "type", which kinda picks the moves their able to do. So my big turtle here is a grass and ground type. So she can use grass and ground type moves!

Is it like elemental magic?

Ok, so you go into a battle and put it into a ball when you win, and then go fight other people's teams. I think im getting this.

Yeah! Elemental magic!

To get "wild pokemon", like this magicarp you have to attack them, get them weak, then you throw am empty pokeball at them and somtimes catch them!

*He demonstrates this by having his Torterra do a grass move on the magicarp, getting it in the red.*

Ooooh, okay.

Your turtle guy is really strong, looks like.

Yeah, shes a little overleveled. But its okay. Somtimes when they get too overleveled they stop listening to you, though.

*The magicarp can only splash. So Grian catches it in a normal pokeball.*

*Cupid pumps his fist in celebration as Grian captures it, and winces as the movement pulls on his stitches. He keeps smiling though. This is a good moment and he wants to savor it.*

*Grian giggles a little.*

Its not that special! Just a magicarp. But it does turn into a really cool big dragon later if I keep it on me.

*The nickname screen pops up.*

Oh! What should I name it?

Names, names, names... how about Cupid! Courageous, strong and devilishly hansome, this fish will be the envy of all of the little Pokémon fish!

Yeah, if they didn't they'd break out of the balls. The fighting makes them stronger! And they never die, you just take them to a nurse and they get all healed up like nothing happened.

Ok, so you go into a battle and put it into a ball when you win, and then go fight other people's teams. I think im getting this.

To get "wild pokemon", like this magicarp you have to attack them, get them weak, then you throw am empty pokeball at them and somtimes catch them!
