A slowpoke walks in Red’s direction, a piece of paper in her jaws. Once she reaches the young trainer, she places her paper on the ground for him to read. The paper has a cute, simple doodle of herself riding a white, flying Pokémon with red and blue accents who is unfamiliar to the Kanto region. Under the drawing, a question is written. “What do you look for in a friend?”

"Hey buddy! Whatcha got there?"

"Wow, this is a pretty neat drawing! Loads better than what I can do. Hehe... Though, I've never seen that kind of pokemon before..."

"As for the question, I guess I look for someone that's kind to everyone, humans and pokemon. I'd also appreciate it if a friend could help me out whenever I'm in a tight spot, or give me advice on choices, like Poliwag! I've avoided a lot of trouble thanks to him."
