Aoba = cis, homosexual

Clear = genderfluid (prefers masculine pronouns at the mo), demiromantic demisexual

Koujaku = cis, bisexual (with a leaning towards women)

Mizuki = cis, pansexual

Noiz = cis, demiromantic homosexual

Mink = doesnt really care (could be agender), pansexual

Sei = agender (prefers they/them, but doesn’t mind Aoba calling them his brother), grey-a

Vitri = they are a mystery

Ryuuhou = son i um

Heya!! I really adore this AU to the ends of the earth and beyond, but I just wanted to mention a little something. The term "heteroflexible" is kind of problematic :/ I can explain in more detail later because i'm on mobile right now, but might(1/2)

I suggest a bisexual Koujaku what happens to lean more towards women? :) it'd be nice to see some bi representation in your AU!

Thanks so much for bringing this up! I did actually see somewhere before that use of the term heteroflexible was more or less bi erasure at its core, but i honestly completely forgot i wrote that down for Koujaku, whoops;; (weird brain floop there tbh)

Koujaku is actually very bisexual in my mind, haha. I'll update my post about it to reflect that.

YO i havent been around much lately due to actually having coMMITMENTS LMAO but!! a lot of people were asking me what was going on with the fucking college au and i never said much about it so i feel like i owe u all an apology and an explanation ahh.....

BASICALLY what's happening with the au now is that it is on hiatus, and has been for some time now (and it's totally my fault for not saying so in the first place, sORRY). i do still have plans to continue working on it in the future, since this is kinda something i want to eventually finish because PERSONAL GOALS!!! ARE GOOD SOMETIMES U FEEL ME

right now though i literally don't have time for a lot of personal endeavours at all because school suddenly got 500% More Real, so i have to put all my concentration towards that if i want to actually pass all my subjects this trimester lmao...

youd think this would be fuel for college au but it's actually more of the opposite, and thinking about school a lot these days makes me v stressed out/anxious a lot so............. haha um

also honestly i have been feeling a bit flat w/ not just dmmd but fandom in general lately so not much fanwork from me either?? though tbh ill probably be right back in the zone once dmmd anime starts IN A FEW DAYS HELL YEA BUDDY

I know I'm probably kinda late to say this but I really, really wanna thank you for how you made Clear!! I, myself, have quite a few of the same problems as him as well as identifying as genderfluid & demi! I really love this au and was thrilled to learn I can relate even more to him since he's one of my favorites. Thank you very much!!!

so far my favourite is actually the minoi arc???? ODDLY ENOUGH since this one is actually the hardest and most emotionally taxing to write for me (as well as being the longest one i have planned lmao……….. post-college au is gonna be a doozy most likely)

god i still cant believe when i started out it was mostly just going to be weird lil comics of everyone being trashy college hipsters, but now LOOK AT THIS it is literally the longest and most detailed fandom project ive ever embarked on to dATE i mean??? christ it was kind of mostly an accident that i even got up to this point but HERE WE ARE, SOMEHOW

Sorry if this is too personal but I just want you to know this AU is so important to me. Besides the fact that it's cute as hell, the representation of disorders and problems is inspiring almost? Like I love Noiz but it bothered me how in the game he just bounced back from his awful past like it was nothing. I had struggled from, funnily enough, everything he does in your au, and I'm glad to see your interpretation because it's oddly helpful to see likeable characters with relatable problems.

ahhh man i'm really glad for this message, honestly! the relatability and rawness of the things that happen to the characters in the au is something i really wanted to maintain, partly because i WANT people to relate to it and get invested, and partly to kinda scratch my own itch about college aus/real-world aus in general not being as relatable as i'd like them to be;; (i mean u know what they say: if u dont like the content available, mAKE UR OWN)

and yeah lmao ill admit, a lot of what went into noiz's characterization for the au came from a lot of issues i've had to deal with personally, so i understand that :') im glad to see though that other people can emotionally connect to what ive done so far, and i sincerely hope you guys will stick with me to the end (assuming i havent accidentally killed you all with feels before then)!

uhh tbh au!noiz is?? the kind of person to suffer his attacks in private… he’d rather not let anyone else see his pain and frustration if he can help it, out of some misguided notion that he has to keep a certain image up in public in order to keep people away; if there’s one thing he hates more than himself, it’s the pity of others. So instead of making a scene of it in public, he’d most likely feign coolness to remove himself from the situation, and then once he’s out of sight and earshot, proceed to break down.

mink has seen him suffer an attack at least once, but that was more drug-induced than anything and apart from that he’s never seen noiz panic when sober (the attacks are actually far worse sober than when he’s toked up)

honestly? it’d be very hard for au!mink to react helpfully if he ever encountered noiz in that situation; they are both the kind of people that expect themselves and others to be able to clean up after themselves, to be able to get a grip on reality on their own. so really, if something of the sort ever happened i wouldnt put it past mink to be more than a bit… insensitive.

he might even yell. lmao
