Scroll-Keeper! Might I have– hmmm– a word? It would seem that there are other versions of me and other Skeksis. Do your scrolls have any meaning for this? Tried asking Scientist and have recieved no answer! @chamberlain-skeksil

It’s utterly fascinating to say the least!”      “But I won’t lie when I say that there are some more... Disturbed universes out there. And stumbling upon yourself, more accurately a mirrored you that could reflect any aspect of yourself that you hide deep away, or an exaggerated trait you already have; is uncanny to say the least. And there are other selves and worlds out there that make the most vile of us seem like saints. Those are realms I do not wish to venture into.”     “Although, it is rather interesting to see how certain acts played out for our alternate selves so we may not repeat the same mistakes.     “Things have been rather monotonous. Doesn’t help that the ask box is a bit dry.” *Sigh*...     “I guess I’ll just be reading in solitude, all alone amongst my labyrinthian domain of tomes until someone needs me for some... Ridiculous task.”      The Scrollkeeper gives a dramatic and overblown sigh as he licks his fingertip and turns to the next page of the novel he was reading in the candlelight of his writing chair. He takes a moment to look over his shoulder to see if anyone has noticed him, and then immediately returns to pretending to engross himself in a tale he’s already read forwards and backwards.

How would you react if a human was in the library reading your books?

“As long as they take care not to damage anything or speak too much I don’t see any harm in it. I admire the pursuit of knowledge that sparks in some beings. Although… I’ll definitely have to keep a close eye on them. I don’t quite trust humans very easily. They’re much too… curious for their own good.

“Work is as taxing as ever, but I am still alive and well. A job worth doing it worth doing well. And I think I deserve a bit of a break after al that work. That little hibernation spell did wonders.”

     “Oh my! This is new~ Once I finish this last document on sifan/spriton trade relations, I shall be more than happy to join you. It’s quite the nice surprise that you’re motivated to do this sort of thing, usually I’m the one to fetch you! Anything in specific you’d like to talk to me about? Or is the sky just that gorgeous today?”

Let's say, hypothetically, that you and I are classmates in Philosophy 101. And now let's say that we're about to take our final. You forgot to bring a pencil, so you turn to me and ask to 'borrow' a pencil. Ok, so you want ME to spend MY hard earned money just so you can take your exam. That’s in fact communism! Now I love my country, which means that I don’t support communism. Of course you might claim that it’s not That Big of A Deal to lend you a pencil for the duration of the exam. False.
