A popular collective of French YouTubers, VoxMakers, was dismantled a couple of years ago for obscure reasons, but each member went on to make their own channel and everything seemed fine

TODAY the former members of this group have released a 2h+ video explaining point by point how this collective was lead by a mysoginist, homophobic, racist, fatphobic narcissist man who manipulated every member of the group to trust him in the span of 6 FUCKING YEARS to end up being in charge of the whole collective, stole all the revenue from the videos, the donations of the fans, conventions etc… underpaid everyone, put pressure to release videos, allienated anyone who started rebelling/leaving, had double standards on everything from video content to dating and oh my god I cannot cite everything he’s done, it’s fucking 2 HOURS

Anyway, they estimated he stole between 50 000 and 100 000 euros and psychologically abused all the members for 6 years, playing on the fact that they didn’t all live in the same place and could manipulate everyone individually

They dismantled because they wanted to create a studio where they’d all live to make videos more easily, but then they had the occasion to really talk with eachother and realise how shitty and manipulative this man really was, lying about everyone to everyone, having a shitty personality in general…. God.
