This blog used to be about Benson and Tia’s relationship and how it progressed over the series, but now it’s all about Tia and her experience throughout the series of Regular Show. :3

How do you get along with the worst employees in the park?
(OMG ALMOST FOUR YEARS SINCE I’VE LOOKED AT THIS, I’M SO SORRY 😭)
“For one thing, whenever I’m paired with Mordecai and Rigby for work, they almost always find an excuse to slack off and leave me to do their jobs. 😒”
“And when it comes to Muscle Man, he’s not too bad. His ‘My Mom’ jokes are pretty mid at best, but the thing that pisses me off about him is his unexpected pranks, especially when they’re targeted at me. 😤”
“But despite the difficulties I gotta deal with those guys, they’re still pretty cool. 😌”
“Which one of us do you think would win in a play fight?”
Benson thought for a second. Good question. Who would win? Images of teeth and claws and fists and feet and tails went through his mind. They each had their own advantages, and they were both equally competitive. A clear answer to the question didn’t seem to exist, but that didn’t stop him from answering.
“Uhh, me obviously,” he said smugly, looking Tia in the eyes, hands on hips.
“Really? You sure about that?” she responded, tail flicking menacingly.
“Mm-hmm. Why, you want me to prove it?”
Tia bared her teeth as she spoke, “if you’re up to the challenge. Do your worst, Gumball!”
Instead of using his best moves right away, he decided it would be best to slowly ease into it to begin with. He pushed his girlfriend gently on the shoulder and watched her lose her balance and fall backwards onto the couch.
“Ha! Is that all you’ve got? Seriously?” she laughed. Getting up from the couch, she stumbled towards Benson and grabbed him around the waist. In one swift motion, she spun around and pushed him onto the couch, not letting go of him as he landed in the large groove she left there seconds earlier.
Tia stopped Benson from standing up by placing her hands on his shoulders and kneeling over him, with a knee on either side of his body. She shifted her bodyweight so that they both fell sideways and were now laying on the couch. This caused the pair to burst into a fit of giggles, which ceased seconds later when they both remembered what they were supposed to be doing.
They spent a few minutes wrestling on the couch before they rolled onto the floor together. The wrestling and shoving continued, appearing to quickly increase in intensity until they could only see each other, and even that was difficult.
From their perspective, it looked and felt as if they were in a cloud. Benson imagined for a second what it might look like from the outside, perhaps like a round, fluffy cloud with limbs and tails flying out every which way. The image in his head briefly distracted him, allowing Tia to gain the upper hand once again. He rolled over and pinned her arms to the floor, his face hovering over hers so they could more easily see each other through the fog.
“Haha! I told you I—Ah!”
In an instant, she had kicked him off of her and proceeded to get on top herself, holding one of his arms down with a clawed hand and giving him a quick bite on the cheek.
“Hey!” Benson laughed. He tried to flip his girlfriend over, resulting in the wrestling match resuming.
The couple kept rolling around on the floor, grunting as they took turns gaining the upper hand. As they moved, the cloud surrounding the two seemed to follow them.
At one point, Tia noticed that she could see again. Her ears pricked up as she watched Benson continue to roll around on the carpet, round white cloud surrounding him, arms and legs poking out occasionally. She giggled. She couldn’t believe he’d managed to push her out.
“Hey! Let me back in!” Tia pounced on her boyfriend and back into the fray, and the struggle resumed.
With an “oof!,” Benson was pinned down by his girlfriend as she gave him a noogie. Writhing against her grasp, Benson reached for Tia’s twitching tail and gently gnawed on it, earning a cute squeak of surprise from Tia, making her let go of Benson. She hissed playfully at her boyfriend as her tail fluffed up, but before she could do anything, Benson pounced on her and proceeded to tug on her ear with his mouth, growling as he did before throwing soft punches to Tia’s sides.
Tia laughed and swiped at his face with her hand a few times like any cat would do, while Benson did the same thing to her. Tia then shoved Benson off her and out of the cloud, catching him by surprise. He shook his head as he was practically dazed from the cloudy vision he had in the cloud, so to speak.
“Well… that just happened,” he said before getting back up, cracking his knuckles, “But that ain’t gonna stop me!”
He jumped back into the cloud, and the couple continued to playfully fight each other. Growls, laughs, yelps, and grunts filled the room while Tia and Benson scuffled and rolled over each other for dominance, limbs and tails poking out of the cloud as it moved around the room wherever they rolled. They also pulled each other back in the cloud whenever one of them tried to escape or get a pillow from the couch for backup.
After about 10 minutes, the cloud cleared, meaning their playful fight was over. Worn out, Benson collapsed on top of Tia, both of them feeling hot, tired, and breathing heavily, with messy hair and fur, and a few harmless marks and bruises on their bodies.
“So… what do you say we… call a truce?” Benson breathed.
“Okay, yeah… we’ll settle this some other time then,” Tia answered. Her boyfriend watched her tail as it swayed lazily.
“Yeah… and I’m gonna… win,” he smiled smugly and closed his eyes, “I mean, I already won this time, but… yeah.”
“Yeah, Benson, sure you will,” she giggled before giving Benson an Eskimo kiss, “That was fun though.”
“Heheh,” Benson chuckled and blushed, “It sure was.”

Talents: Tia can run a little faster on all fours than Rigby, so she’s labeled as one of the fastest members of the park. Being a cat, she has retractable claws, sharp feline teeth that can be seen whenever she’s angry, enhanced agility and a fluffy, yet strong tail she can use to hang upside down on a tree branch. When she wears her shoes, they can turn into roller skates or jet boots with a click of her heels. Tia can also play the acoustic guitar and rap a few bars, since she mostly picks it up from Mordecai and Rigby. And despite having a deep, but still feminine voice, she uses it as an advantage to sing some low notes, but she can still sing some high notes as well, though not as high as Mariah Carey could go. xP Tia learned Chinese and Japanese in her school years and she can mainly speak Chinese fluently, which helped when she went to China with Benson in “Hello China.”

Weaknesses: I don’t think she has any weaknesses atm, but yarn balls and laser pointers will distract her, no matter how hard she tries to resist it.
Extra info (if any):
Tia never had a graduation party after her senior year, because of a fight that happened between her and Fifi, but everybody turned their back on Tia ever since while Fifi pretty much got off scot-free. Nobody invited her to the graduation party, which lead to her deep depression and her near attempt to commit suicide by slitting her throat with her claws, but thankfully her sister Leah stopped her before she could do such a thing to herself. After that, Tia’s family and friends helped cheer her up, making her feel like she had her own graduation party, which made her feel so much better.
Her father was killed in a bank that Tia was trapped in during a robbery attempt when she was 19.
She secretly has a blanket from her childhood that she never let go of.
While not as strong as Skips, Mordecai or Muscle Man, Tia is strong enough to fight her own battles, and will not be afraid to stand up for her friends.
Tia is Autistic.
When Tia was 18, she worked as a delivery girl for the post office, but it doesn't go well when dogs were involved.
She actually had 6 fingers on each hand when she was a newborn, until the doctors took the extra fingers off, leaving a bump on the side of her pinkies.
In an envisioned episode of Skunked, instead of getting sprayed by the were skunk, Tia got bitten by it, yet the bite is still active in her even after she splattered tomato paste on her at the end of the episode. So she would use her werecat ability again in a different version of Real Date. Though Tia can’t use the ability on command; only when she’s completely enraged, that’s when she’ll turn into a werecat.
