Headcanon that twinyards still need counseling from Bee post college graduation cuz they suffer from separation anxiety. Neither thought it would hit them that hard, especially since they grew up apart, but now that they're healing it hurts like hell. This isn't the same as Aaron switching rooms, or them fucking off to be with their respective partners (Neil, Katelyn). This is different timezones, different schedules, planning when to meet up cuz life is life-ing.

And it gets to them. They answer Nicky's texts more. They don't ignore the Foxes group chat as much. Aaron makes better friends and Andrew gains more patience with eager teammates that think he's the coolest goalie ever. Still, they wish they hugged a little longer when saying goodbye before going on their own adult paths.

It's not as shocking over the years, less painful, but in the beginning boy was it rough on Bee, Katelyn, and Neil when Andrew and Aaron didn't see each other everyday like normal. Only getting a glance when they stared at a mirror

Never getting over that part of twinyards messed up dynamic is that Andrew was acting more like a mom than a brother. He wasn't necessarily a Tilda replacement, but he was just as bit controlling. Except Tilda controlled cuz she's an abuser while Andrew controls cuz he's undoing Tilda's damage to the best of his ability for Aaron's sake. This puts a new meaning to Andrew's hatred of Katelyn being important to Aaron's life. She's a person he can't control or scare off or get Aaron to abandon and choose him instead as knowing what's best. Mother brother knows best

And again, Andrew can't see that Aaron simply wants a brother but Andrew is totally loss on how to do that, especially since the last brother he had was a whole nightmare

Obsessed with how obsessed twinyards is with each other. They really could've stayed strangers, most likely dying from their separate abusers hands unaware their other half was out there cuz of how alone they were growing up, yet as soon as he gained knowledge that there is someone out their with the same exaxt blood as him, deeper than Tilda's, Aaron fought to get to Andrew and Andrew fought harder to keep Aaron.

They have piss poor communication skills, bad coping mechanisms, and a lot of baggage yet they make a deal anyway when most would call it a losing bet just cuz they care so much and yearn so much for what was stolen from them

Forever thinking about how Aaron is drunkenly dancing in the club and how similar it might be to Andrew watching a drugged out Aaron slovenly moving his limbs

Andrew seeing the difference of mobility, how drunk Aaron has better awareness than drugged Aaron, but both versions of Aaron still can't remember what they did last night

Thinking about that time in TKM when Neil punched Aaron and “Aaron took a couple of bored steps out of Neil’s reach and calmly checked the corner of his mouth with his thumb.”

Being bored is not 🚫 a normal human response to being hit. Aaron didn’t even flinch, and I think that shows how traumatized he is because of Tilda that being struck doesn’t even phase him anymore.

It also seems like he does the same trick Neil does where he looks at a person’s arms to judge the safe distance away from them, and I think it’s so sad that they both had to learn how to do that.

Neilaaron being arch nemesis is so dear to me. Them bitching each other out, shit talking about eo to their face or behind their backs, sending hate mail in any way they can, the presidents of their hate clubs toward eo, getting lost in time just throwing cheap shots and glaring wars that hold secret argument convos

The hate is so palatable even their exy fans have beef with eo, the Jostenites vs the Aaronians, which semi amuses Andrew and Nicky cuz the Jostenites still confuse which idenrical twin Neil is dating so sometimes they're accidentally hating on Andrew while making shipping content of neilaaron

Aaron can't do too much hating as his senior year approaches cuz doctor schools check socials so he has to clean up his profiles where he's just dragging Neil for filth which makes Neil go harder on dissing Aaron cuz Aaron is muzzling his own mouth to be seen as a respectable young man ("poser" Andrew teases)

And then Neil gets offended when Aaron ranks him below his doctor cohort cuz his classmates are his new problem vs just another Tuesday of Neil being annoying. So Neil becomes even more of a pain by always announcing in interviews how Aaron just doesn't hate him the same and that's bad for their dynamic

And the one time Nicky dared Aaron to be nice to Neil, Neil thought Aaron was dying and Aaron technically was cuz he legit felt sick to his stomach playing nice. Neil begged Aaron never to do that again and Aaron gratefully called him "mafioso" and Neil felt all was right in the world again

Andrew doesn't care to decipher what insane "I hate you more" pact his man and his twin got going on, but he likes that Abby tells him hating your sibling's significant other is pretty common

Aaron hates Neil, Neil hates Aaron, and so on, but it would be Aaron who finds out that Neil’s well-being is getting worse, and it would be him who ends up monitoring Neil’s condition until he can hand him over to Abby.

The twins bond by doing a twinyard switch to see if Aaron's kids can figure out who is who. The babies are added to the few list of people that can recognize who is daddy Aaron and Uncle Andrew
