"No, I don't have a sister" odd, Rai thought, he was positive that he saw Milo somewhere before. But at the moment, his mind was busy with thoughts recently that the recent days were just a blur to him. Rai gave a shrug, knew him or not, at least he was glad to make a friend in the murky woods. For the most of it, it didn't seem like Milo disliked him too much. But that was good enough for him.
Following Milo until they still found the witch unconscious, Milo picked up the witch on his on and continued their path until a clearing. With Rai doing nothing and Milo doing everything, he watched as the knocked out witch was tied up and now was burning to death.
The fire burned her skin, leaving a rotting door of burnt flesh and smoke. Even Rai himself found himself queasy, and so he had to look away and continued his response to Milo.
"Yeah, the dinner is about to start" he quickly spoke, wanting to get out of there as soon as possible. He didn't want some freaky thing to happen where one of the witches woke up and either screamed or stare everyone down. No, he abolsultely didn't want that.
Response to [x]
After introducing himself, Milo came to a sudden stop and turned to stare at him. Which wouldn't provide much since Rai had consumed his head under a hood, but his eyes stood out (which is how most people recognized him).
"My name is Milo" Milo….Milo. Rai couldn't figure it out but he seemed to know someone of that name, the only thing he could remember was orange hair, beach, bikini. He tilted his head as Milo picked up the pace, meaning he had to catch up as well.
Milo had appeared uncomfortable, but he still had to ask. "Do you have a sister?"
Response to [x]
When Milo spoke to him, that brought him back into reality and realize that his hands were now red--not from blood but friction from washing his hands too hard. He looked back at Milo with weary eyes, and thought back to what Milo had just asked him.
"So, do you HAVE a name?" he asked, leaning against the tree trunk with a casual pose as if he wasn't recently attacked. Rai was about to answer before another note appeared, and Milo proceeded to read the note on his own.
During this time, Rai had pulled the draw strings of his hood so that the hood engulfed his head; leaving his nose and eyes to be the only thing seen. At least this kinda dealt with his hair problem.
Before Rai could respond again after Milo read the note, Rai's hand was taken again and dragged out of the water and onto solid ground. Then stating that Milo had to find the witch again. Rai gave an unbelievable look, giving the signal that they had just RAN AWAY from Friena, and now they're going back?
Without any rebuttal, Rai was soon on another walk finding the witch. The only thing he could do was follow Milo through the forest, and trying to gain back his senses.
"My name--" he suddenly spoke out during the quiet walk, "is Rai". At least he introduced himself.
Response to [x]
Rai followed Milo during the whole trip until a jingle of jewellery range out and saw a lady in blue and pink. Not knowing the difference between human, elf and witch; Rai raised his hand in greeting. Only for Milo to head straight towards her and fists out, with attempted punches and attacks, the witch dodged every single one.
He didn't know what to do except watch the fight, assuming that the exchange was between Milo and Feina. But finally Milo landed a punch on the witch, however decided that escaping was the best choice. In a few seconds, Rai found himself being whisked away by Milo; and miles away from the witch.
Rai held his hand tight, weaving around roots, mud puddles and trees, they finally made a stop. Checking if the cost was clear, they paused to take their breath. Rai watched as Milo proceeded to take a seat by the tree, panting hard while he himself found himself with a quick heart beat instead. Archery did pay off for his stamina.
Looking down, he noticed that Milo was staring at him for awhile. Giving a quirky look, Rai felt uncomfortable against his gaze.

“I feel the same...” Alright, Rai thought, that's a good start. Watching the orange elf shift back and get up, his gave a surprised look as a note appeared out of nowhere and fluttered into his new companion’s hands.
Curious, Rai stood up and dusted the first off of his pants; knowing that the semi-dried blood on his clothes were never going to come out. Then proceed to look over Milo’s shoulder, reading the tiny font the note provided. But in huge letters was the name of the witch.
He stood back with a quick step as Milo gave Rai his attention, mentioning the witch and wanting to find her. He watched as the orange haired elf take a step, but paused, giving the signal that Rai ‘could’ come along.
Rai perked up and followed, continuing along the path as well as following Milo. Which was great since Rai was already lost anyway, he did not have a good sense of direction.
Upon following and trying to make small talk, Rai felt his hand get cold all of a sudden. Blowing hot air to make it better, he just decided to shove his freezing hands into his pockets, only to feel a crumpled piece of paper that did not belong to him. Taking it out, he found that it was a note similar to Milo’s, but with the name DAWOR written instead.
As he read the note, he felt the ends of his hair prickle and stand; as if someone was watching him. He whipped his head about, looking everywhere but nothing stood out. Weird... He gave a pause, looking up at the moon—then realized that Milo had walked a few steps ahead. Not wanting to be left behind, he rushed after him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rai quickly covered his eyes from the blinding light in the sudden darkness, now witnessing the coyote glow and transform into a man. Orange haired elf to be precise, who then proceed to lay down next to him with a coughing fit.
"Least you didn’t die" the familiar elf mentioned, leaving Rai in a cloud of confusion.
What was that light? Who's the elf? Part coyote? Feel like I've met him before but--
Rai bolted up from the cold ground, staring at the elf before giving a questionable squint.
It could-- but it couldn't, maybe a brother?
Rai wiped his bloodied hand free on a dry patch of grass, then without permission, patted the flat chest of the elf's. He distinctively knew that there were supposed to be breasts here, but instead found a toned out chest.
"You...I feel like I've met you somewhere" He mentioned, taking his hand back to avoid retaliation from the elf.

// no pictures, ok i lied i put pictures but i've also updated his portrait on his theme B)
Whipping his busted up hands around, wrapping and snapping one after another; Rai could barely catch up as move morphed wolves joined in on the rally. Only to repeatedly tell himself that it was a shitty idea to be caught and targeted by a pack of hungry wolves. Pushing him around against one another, teasing their food but also losing one of their brothers after each round of tossing.
Rai already had his fore arm and hip gnawed raw from the toss about, losing blood himself but spilling twice the gallons of the opponents. But he knew he couldn't keep it up forever, he had to find a way to escape or buy time in order to over come them.
During the commotion, Rai noticed another participant of the rally but only to find that it was nipping at the wolves and not himself. Quirked, Rai tried to observe the coyote biting the hind legs of the wolves. A familiar tinge of orange flashed under the wolves' black fur, pacing around the pack to distract. Rai grimaced, he somewhat knew that the coyote wanted to help but against this big pack; they were both done for.
Opening their sharp but rusted jaws again, they latched onto Rai's already wounded hip and caused him to let out a shout of pain. All the energy in his legs fell weak as it relayed all his senses towards the bite, causing him to collapse amongst the pact. Find this point of weakness, another lunges forward to finish the blow-- but Rai raises his arms, baring the jaw back with his bloodied hands. He couldn't move or else the beast would finish things once and for all, but this stopped the rest from grabbing chunks from him. (Which he would very much like to keep)
Losing energy in his arms, Rai soon felt his breaking point and slowly felt the push of the wolf's foul breath. He could not let himself die, nor did he want to bring the beast out within in. Holding on was all he could do, and hopefully the coyote had a plan up their sleeves.
Teeth reaching their point, a loud screech was heard throughout the forest-- paralyzing the wolf pack in their tracks and grabbed their attention. Ears perked and jaw open, they all ran away with speed with their tails under their legs. There was something bigger out there, but saved the life of one dumb elf.
Rai layer there for a moment's breath, feeling his body start to regenerate bits and pieces that were taken from him. Then turned his head to look at the coyote peering on.
"yo"
Hood up and running forwards, Rai couldn't see a single thing in the dark despite his bird like eyes. Just rushes of colours and oddly coloured trees blurred as he ran past, obviously not looking out for the corpse straight ahead. With a graceful trip and face plant towards the cold hard ground, Rai found himself in a wet substance upon collision.
Walking through the dark but vibrant forestry, Rai slowly makes his way to the dungeon altar with a skip. After the summer festival he had back a few months, he was glad to be out again. Previously he had to deal with family, but now he had time for himself tonight and decided to join the dinner.
Although the invitation was vague and mysterious, that did not stop him from going. He gave a shrug, taking out the crumpled envelope from his pocket and unfolded it.
“This should be the place” he said as he read the details of the dinner, “kinda weird that it’s in a dungeon...”

I'll be terribly busy this weekend, so just a warning
"I hear they are quite a lovely sight to see tonight. It would be nice to see them with a sweetheart, don’t you think…?" Lemmy spoke, leaning on his hand on the counter. But Rai’s only response to that was to frown, seeing Lemmy’s mixed emotions of trying to stay happy but conflicted with other thoughts of…well, his lover at the moment. Rai gave Lemmy a look, thinned lipped to show that he wasn’t fooling anyone.
The man who had approached was introduced by his bff, named Haru, and proceeded to introduce himself. Raising a hand for a shake, he gave a friendly smile. Before Rai could accept the hand, he saw sparks flickering out of Haru’s sash. Crackling and hissing before it exploded out of his sash and into the sky, exploding into wonderful colours and pops. Rai’s mouth hanged open at the fireworks, amazed by the beauty and thunderous cracks.
“wow” he muttered, still gazing at the fireworks exploding into the night sky. Until he heard another hissing sound, quirking an eyebrow; he tried to find the source of the second firework near them. No one was near them except for Haru and Lemmy, but the hissing could still be heard. Soon Rai had felt heat in his pockets building up, looking down to see his own pockets sizzling as well. Jumping up, he knocked lightly into Lemmy with a cry and patting the fireworks to put them out. But to no avail, they grew brighter as he hit them over and over. Provoking them even more, they soon started to lift into the air.
“No! Wait, stop!” he cried, feeling the air on his back as his sweater lifted off. He tried to keep them down with his arms, but with his weak willed arms they rocketed into the air in no time. Rai stood there motionless, naked only with swim trunks on and his arms wrapped around his chest.
Ash fluttered down from the sky and two slips of paper floated down onto his head. Reaching up for the pieces, they read [ Better luck next time...] and [You won the Raffle! ]
“That was my sweater” :(

Hearing Lemmy’s concerns and opinions on his new romance life, Rai could only snort out a giggle as Lemmy spoke about messing up and etc. He playfully slapped Lemmy on his arm, patting it as he wiped a tear away. He knew that Lemmy usually cared for every detail (which he enjoyed about Lemmy), but he knew that the little bunny shouldn’t worry himself all the time.
“psh” He snorted, “no worries, he’ll understand.” He leaned on the counter with Lemmy, looking out towards the distance as well.
“You can get him a gift and then just ask him out that way,” pointing to the multiple prizes that can still be won from the open booths.
“how about this” He slurred, “tell him how you feel, he’ll understand” finishing up his bit of advice. He wasn’t very keen on romantic advices, but he tried his best. Wringing his hands and fidgeting with them, he felt another pair of eyes staring at the kissing booth. Looking up he saw a man with blue mid-length hair, adorned with a robe and jewellery and introduced himself to them.
“Hey guys—how’s it going?” The man gave an awkward nod as he approached the booth, his stare towards Lemmy seemed more comfortable. Rai quirked his eyebrow; wondering if Lemmy knew the mysterious man but he saw that he had felt awkward with Rai’s presence.
“Hey” Rai smiled, trying to not scare off the man. “Welcome to the kissing booth…?”
A young man stares out quietly as ongoing passerby walk past him. It seems that he’s a bit cold. With a rather small frown etched his face, you question approaching him. Then you hear him speak, a very gentle and fluid voice is heard. Only for another man to poke his head out from behind the stall, giving you a wave and a red faced smirk.

Rai listened eagerly to his friend, nodding in agreement that he had not contacted Lemmy in a few months. Rai wanted to say something, but knew it would just ruin the bubbly atmosphere that the festival provided. Not wanting to make excuses, he found himself quiet and thinned lipped.
"There’s some things you can’t exactly talk about on the phone through text messages..." He gave a big nod for that, making a note in his mind that he should frequently message the white bunny (Lemmy’s icon on his phone) to not cause any more worry. But with the chances of Rai being a little tipsy, Lemmy would probably yell into his ear again.
"Well for me, I’ve finished a few novels that I think you may enjoy...” Rai smiled at that, enjoying the multiple recommendations that Lemmy had gave him. Although the list was long, he tried to stay updated with Lemmy; seeing that he enjoyed the discussions and arguments they both had.
"I’ve been trying to write new music, but I’m kind of stuck at certain parts...” He slowly nodded at this, giving hope for Lemmy to make a breakthrough. He wasn’t quite a musical genius like his friend here, but he did enjoy the musical selections whenever he visited Lemmy.
"Prom went…fine. Better than fine…except someone died..." He frowned at that, giving the emotion of pity that someone had died at a party. Lemmy had probably knew that Rai was out of the area at the time, and couldn’t make it to Prom. (Even though Lemmy taught him how to tie a tie)
But Rai saw Lemmy stare off into the ocean, continuing his talk. "And…I guess I’ve found someone really important to me. Important as in… a lover, not as in a really close friend." He saw a faint smile as Lemmy mentioned a lover, cheeks gave a light pink hue; probably remembering the things that happened to them. Rai went to reach out for Lemmy’s hand, not knowing if he surprised him of the touch or not; and gave a reassuring squeeze.
“Congrats Lemm, i’m happy you found your significant other.” Giving a bright warming smile, feeling the effects of the whiskey slowly die down.
What a lightweight

After crashing into Lemmy with a sloppy hug, Rai had found himself in a daze; probably from knocking his head into the white haired man. He felt himself stand up, knees buckled and head down as he got dragged along to who knows what. All Rai could do was follow along, repeating Lemmy’s name in short variation nicknames.
Rai looked up to see a familiar booth, its ‘kissing booth’ banner hung low and the host still occupying the space. He smiled at the host, only feeling the familiarity but not connecting two and two together. He saw Lemmy talk to the booth host with a soothing tone, summing up that Lemmy had known the host beforehand. Rai knew Milo too, but at the time he was crashing.
Lifted up again and plotted down on a chair, whispering a ‘bye Miloo’ as she left. Next thing he knew, he was being lectured by Lemmy—Well, it seems like a lecture to him. "Say, are you going to tell me what happened the past few months or are you just going to stay drunk?"
Rai hummed at Lemmy’s question, placing a hand up to Lem’s lips with a ‘pap’ to shoosh him. Not wanting Lemmy to get angry at him, he somewhat tried to sit up straight, looked at Lemmy in the eye with confidence. “I am” Rai started with pride, not noticing that he had said ‘not’ in his mind and continued with; “drunk.”

Rai stared at his statue with joy, giving snorts and giggles every now and then when he looked up at it. He was completely out of his bonkers; aka, being more buzzed than usual. But Rai had found himself in a ruse of giggles when he looked up at his sand creation, not knowing who the heck he made. He tried his best to remember the name, but it only came out in slurs. “hurmm—cur, curavan—no wait, Caravan!” He touched his fingers to his lips, “Caravan Joey!” ‘Yes, that was the name of the man’ he thought, raising a fist in triumph before he got hit on the back of his head. Making him tilt his head towards his sand sculpture and leave a dent on the sculpture’s leg. He winced at the pain when he gingerly touched the back of his head, making sure there was no permanent damage done. Turning around and finding a lemon on the sand floor, he brighten up and exactly knew where the lemon had come from. Picking up the lemon, he found a note stuck to it and read.
"I don’t know what to write here, but I just wanted to say hi. I’m over by the fruit stand if you wanna chill for the small time before I have to go to the kissing booth. ~ Lemmy.”
Of course he would love to hang out with his BFF for life; Lemmy. Anything that Lemmy asks for, Rai would do without hesitation. He smiled with glee and spotted the fruit stand not far from him, and immediately recognized the figure by it. Walking with a fast pace, Rai had made it to the fruit stand and noticed that it had gotten darker as he got there. He shrugged, and gave a hop; colliding into the taller man and gave him a big hug. “LEMMMMYYY” he slurred, obviously not drunk from a sip of whiskey.
Just a warning and fyi that this friday (being august 15th), I'll be busy working until september 1st. But I will try my best to post everyday (mostly at midnight because my shifts are cray), so just a thing for future rpers who want to rp with Ucarai :)

Rai walked towards the shore, seeing the Sand Castle contest banner wavering with the breeze and squinted at the competition. He noticed there were just a few participants, but in the end, Rai was here only to relax and mingle in with society. He’s gotten used to speaking with others, after months of practice with Lemmy (his bff for life) and Ucaraih (his stubborn sister). He smiled, feeling the rushing emotion of pride and confidence after making it this far in the festival.
By the time Rai had made it to the judging area, his mind wandered until he almost tripped on a pile of sand. Snapping out of his thoughts; which he frequently did once he arrived in Filia, and raised his eyes to see a magnificent sand castle.
His mouth dropped staring at the beauty, the towers, ridges and canopies were sculpted like ice. Rai watched the sand castle’s owner step back to admire their work, giving a nod in acceptance. He paled and gulped, Rai had a lot of work to do...
He walked off to an empty area and started shuffling sand together, then finding a pail; he carefully went to the shore and gathered water. Returning to his spot, he dumped it all over his pile of sand. Then gathered more, and repeated the steps. Shaping along the way, as well as the height he wanted.
Rai had accomplished this in a short amount of time, feeling buzzed and energetic from the swig of whiskey before. He was absolutely confidence in his creation, looking up at it with sand covered hands.
The idea of sand CASTLE had totally flown over his head as he worked on it.
