Eh… Just so you guys know and aren’t wondering, I’m probably not gonna be updating this blog or askVLR anymore unless something seriously turns around about ZTD. The full cast reveal was super, super disappointing (5 already put me off, then finding out that 6 was her wasn't pleasant), then the information about how the groups are split was worse, and it just kinda took away any enthusiasm I had. Not saying that these won’t start again at some point (I’m not the only mod of course) and someone else already has the askztd url anyway, so I’m sure another blog will start or something for those who enjoy askblogs. I’ll still be helping out @zeroescapeaus though, so that’s a thing.

I mean, I don’t really trust an anonymous tip, but if I did, I’d think it through and maybe try to get some more info about the mission. I definitely wouldn’t put on a stupid looking biker jacket, start acting like my life has no meaning, and go volunteer to be a part of it.

I didn’t ever actually meet Kubota, and even if I had, it had been 9 years... I couldn’t recognize Hongou’s voice, and I never thought I would forget that.

I actually assumed they were Japanese, since everyone seemed to be Japanese in the first game and the cast only got international in the second (In VLR, Sigma is definitely American, Alice is French-Egyptian, and if I recall correctly, Phi is Japanese-American). I chalked the name difference up to localization, but you’re right, it doesn’t really mesh... 

So I guess my headcanon is I just always assumed they were Japanese and their English names were the weird ones (admittedly, I don’t know any of the cast’s Japanese names besides Yotsuba, Murasaki, and Seven). Either way, I think I’ll ask Uchikoshi in his post-ZTD Q and A. I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time that one of my questions got answered (not that mine was unique anyway).
