My first job as a graphic designer. Four of us worked in this low ceiling basement, I sat in the wooden chair with the laptop.

In honour of Threadless's 20th Anniversary I remade one of my early @threadless submissions, “Nothing but Flowers” (2009), now called “And as thing fell apart, nobody paid much attention” (2020).

Just for fun, I’ve also included some of my research, early drafts and rough work, to show how far I’ve come as a designer over the past 10 years and how participating on @threadless helped shape me into the artist I am today.

Done as a tribute to vintage wartime posters (because this is a war!) the poster illustrates the effectiveness of washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds by showing dirty fingerprints being repelled and eradicate by a sudsy bar of soap.

Upper Canada College (UCC) - Association Day 2017, Canada 150 Exhibit.

Chick & Owl Design Co. researched and designed 20 posters (22″ x 31″) tying the historic Toronto boys school to major events in Canada’s 150 year history for the school’s annual Association Day.
