“I suppose...” Chime sighed. “I could tell you about what happened, though, it’s not very entertaining.”
“It was a very long time ago. I was a little Rinring. I looked different. Ugly, they retorted. Said I was unrefined and not a real pokemon.”
“The verbal abuse shifted into physical... they kicked me around like I was a little ragdoll. When I evolved, they evolved and it only got... worse.” Chime sighs again, tucking in her tail.
“The espeon would use its psychic powers to lift me up. There was nothing I could do. I had no moveset to counter her. She slammed me against a wall one day, hard enough to crack the bell on my tail. It doesn’t sound the same anymore...”
@askbellboyant | Chime can’t help but overhear Carmine’s conversation from the distance. “Sophisticated? Tch.” Chime struts over to the angered alolan meowth and with a sneer, “Rumor has it that you’re a sophisticated contest queen.” She sits, poised. “You don’t look,” emphasis on look, “sophisticated nor queenly to me, dearie. Just a swollen alolan meowth” She sways her tail and sneers again with her nose crinkled, puffing her chest out. “Now, I, for a prime example, AM a contest queen.”
“Now I mean to brag when I say that I have my doubts you are truly a QUEEN if you don’t have a contest star ribbon dear~ This took me quite some time to get in my paws and I must say I am beyond proud of it.” Venus smugly says with a rather devilish grin.
“I have the purrfect face for getting out of any trouble I get in~ One of the many quirks to being as darling as myself~!” Venus coyly replies before switching tone. “But I am sorry to say that it is not really top priority of my trainer to preform every time a contest is hosted. She has for too much work to do for that.”

Chime’s smile fades into a frown as she remembers when she was just a young rinring.
“Y-yes. I’ve been bullied. They would tell me mean things such as I don’t belong or that I’m not a real pokemon.” She sighs. “I’m older now and I now realize that I’m, in fact, not a real pokemon like they were. It— it got to the point where...” her voice trails off as she gazes off to the side.
Chime tucks in her tail to hide the bell and tears pool in her eyes.
