AN: Guess who's all caught up with True Blood? Blame the UK.
But yes, Eric is back, and ready for questions. The askbox is open, so make them good.
And in true AskEric style (or lack thereof) the blog's artist has come back with a new style (which with her track record will last about three questions before it changes again).
So get cracking Truebies! Hit me with your best shot~
When do we see a new creation from your side? it has a little Japanese style in it, specially the eyes of your characters:-)all the best JS
Hello!
I just got up to date with the latest series of TB (sucks to be in the UK) so as soon as my tablet comes back, I want to get drawing again. I might be able to do a few traditional ones before then. I'm just hoping people will forgive my absence and want to send in some new questions to fulfil!
I really love your drawings but my favourites are your Supernatural/Southern Vampire Mysteries cross overpics keep up the epic drawings =D Love this blog <3
Haha thank-you so much.
Supernatural's one of my other main fandoms along with Sherlock, Lost and the Avengers, so sometimes I can't help but draw some crossover pictures~
Those of us who really like you and appreciate you will stick by you! I understand the pains (and unholy costs) of art/design school. I hope the company gets back to you. They can be so horrid about those things.
Well, Wacom got back to me today asking for my return address, so good old Gilbert will be home soon. And I'm hoping to get this blog going again~
No need for apologies! You've provided so many followers with laughs and smiles so rest assured that I will still be following you when/if you return. Good luck with your studies and despite this setback I hope you're having a great year so far :)
((You are literally the sweetest person ever!
Thank-you so much, for the support and staying with me even through all of the hiatus' - and this goes to everyone else who's stuck with this blog.
I've found my old tablet with is like a 9th the size of the one I usually use, so I don't know if I'll actually be able to use it for anything productive, but I'll try at some point haha.
Hope you're all having a great new year - and you especially dear~ Thanks for the sweet message <3))
AN: I'm so sorry guys. My tablet's broken. It won't turn on at all.
Wacom haven't gotten back to me, so I have no idea if it's still covered under warranty. If it's not, I have no idea what to do. It's been an extension of my arm for a year and a half now, and I'll be going back to uni in a week and a half, I can't do much for my course without it. And on a student budget I can't fork out for a new one.
I understand if this means a horde of unfollowers, because I don't know how long it'll be before I get all of this sorted and can start answering questions again, but until this, I guess I'm going to have to put askeric on an indefinite hiatus.
Sorry guys.
Hope you had a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
I love you all so much <3
AN: Christmas is almost here my Little Lovers, and the Christmas competition is closed so I can start the illustration. I'm hoping to have it done and uploaded on or before Christmas. The answers you guys gave me were awesome, I had a lotta fun reading through them; and it's going to be a hard process to pick one now! Thanks to everyone who took part, you're amazing <3 Merry almost Christmas. I hope you have more patience than Eric ;D
AN: Don’t forget the Christmas competition! It’ll be finishing tomorrow night. Where are all of your crazy suggestions, I’m almost disappointed in you ;D
AN: As a special little Christmas treat, I want to hear your answers for a change! Just answer this question, and I'll give you all between now and 9pm Monday (GMT); and I'll draw/animate the most creative answer. Or maybe a comic depending on how complicated it is! I might even throw in a real bonus prize for the winner depending on just how fantastic your answer is ;D
You can reply/reblog this post or send a message. Everything counts.
I totally understand why a lot of you guys have chosen to unfollow, and as stupid as this sounds, I do feel like I've let you down a bit. I have never abandoned this blog, I just have had so much going on with University and leaving the damn country.
Today, I handed in three of the projects that contribute to my final grade, and it felt pretty good. So I celebrated by drawing some Eric. As you can see from my last post. It's been a while since I've gotten the chance to draw him, so I think it might take a while to get into the swing of things.
Christmas, I have a full month off, and I fly back home on Monday. Hopefully over that time I'll be able to get through a chunk of those questions. And I'm sure some of you will add to the Christmas bunch that have been coming in.
Also, thank you for everyone who stuck around (or just forgot to unfollow ;D) and to anyone who's been sending in questions and things anyway. You're all amazing, and I love you.
((AN: I swear there is no wit behind this - I'm just going through a phase where I really enjoy drawing tentacles. And I wanted to post something for Halloween to show this blog isn't dead.
