(Reblog is easier for me) "I am sure she doesn't care if you are a few minutes late," Star Hunter replied, shaking his head as Lavender Jewel scurried out the door, wearing only her scarf. Star Hunter sighed and went after her, muttering to himself that she was going to be freezing and was thankful that his cloak was very warm.
"FRIIIIIIIIITERS." She yelled, taking a plate of cookies and a glass of milk from the fridge. "Shut up, Bright.’ She told herself. "It’s not a problem. She’ll get here."
“N-no, d-don’t cry, Bright….I can…I can get us through this…” Lavender tries to wriggle out from under the table, not breaking eye contact. She stands inches away from her attacker. The mysterious pony says only four words, her mane blowing slightly in the wind from the gap in the ceiling, “I’m disappointed in you.”
"Y-you're disappointed in me?" She says, tears stinging in her eyes, "I-I'm sorry...It wasn't my fault...I didn't mean to get in your way...what happened to you?" Lavender sniffs, and the pony only looks at her angrily. The mysterious mare shakes her head in disapproval, "I thought you were better than this. You only turned out to be a coward." The mare growls, "I took you places you couldn't have dreamed of, and when I give you orders once, you let me down." Lavender lays her ears back, voice quivering, "B-Bright Flye...I want to leave...now..."

“Y-You can’t what?” She still stared, focusing on her attacker’s misty red eyes. She tries to pull away, but just can’t will herself to. “Are you telling me that you’re blind?”
"M-mm hmm." She closed her mouth as tears streamed down her face.

Lavender motioned to ask what Bright saw, frustrated that she wasn’t responding. She then took a look for herself and froze in horror, eyes laid back and mouth open. She tried to speak but stuttered, “I- I- How…why…is it…?”
Her eyes began to grey. “that’s just it…I-I can’t…”

The mysterious pony turned a corner right after Lavender dove under the table too, stopping right in front of their hiding spot. Lavender dared not to breathe, and instead of whispering she covered her eyes and motioned for Bright to get a glimpse of what they looked like. She didn’t want to see it herself. ((The attacker is Bright’s worst fear))
((OH MY GOD THIS IS ABOUT TO GET REALLY MESSED BECAUSE HER WORST FEAR IS BLINDNESS)) She peeked out, and looked up. Her pupils shrunk, and her jaw dropped.

Lavender is silent for a moment then says, “Let’s try to find Star Hunter,” she treads carefully towards an open room, stepping on a piece of broken glass in the process. Her face twists in frustration as she hears hoof-steps. They heard her, dang it!
Bright swears for Lavender. “Just be quiet. Let’s hide.” She dove under a table, muttering “We’re so screwed.”

“Just follow me,” she said, turning around a bend and walking past the library towards a blue cottage. Lavender pushed her way in and looked around. The lights were dark and tables were overturned. “I wonder how they got in?” She whispered, trying to tread lightly.
"Windows, Chimneys, open doors, holes, through the roof…" Bright listed off a ton, softly. "They sure like to make messes."

Lavender frowned and said, “Well, let’s go.” She turns and opens the front door, tightening her scarf.
Bright tried to ban her brain from working. “Where do you live, anyway?”

“Calm down, I think we should go look,” she says, suddenly serious, “Maybe Star Hunter is hurt. And if you don’t come with me, i’m going by myself and you can stay here.”
"I’m coming with you mostly because if you die, I spend Hearth’s Warming alone." Bright crossed her arms.
Lavender frowned and said, "Well, let's go." She turns and opens the front door, tightening her scarf.

“Huh, here, give me that.” She grabbed the phone and carefully dialed a number. “Yes-” “No, I need you to-” “No.” “No.” “Yes.” “Alright, okay-” She pulled the phone away from her ear, “They hung up.” She said, “That was rather rude…”
"Who’d you dial? Do you know?" Bright titled her head.

Lavender raised an eyebrow as there was a silence, then decided to say something, “Hello? Is anyone there?” She adjusted her sweater and brushed some of her mane out of her eyes.
Bright swore again. “They’re onto us.” she hung up. “This was a bad idea.”

“Fine, let’s just call someone else!” She said, picking the phone up again. Her mind changed halfway picking it up, though, and she gave it to Bright Flye, “Your turn!”
"I have a list of safe numbers." she held up a list, snickering. Dialing up a random number, she opened with Hello, is Mrs. Wall there, please?
She hit the speaker phone.
”No, there is no Mrs. Wall here.”
"Can I speak with Mr. Wall then?"
"There is not a Mr. Wall here either."
"Is Harry Wall on the other end, then?"
Lavender raised an eyebrow as there was a silence, then decided to say something, "Hello? Is anyone there?" She adjusted her sweater and brushed some of her mane out of her eyes.

She swore again. “She’s calling back what do I do Crap what.” She picked it up and answered it.
Lavender jumped from hoof to hoof, awaiting the inevitable response of Celestia.
"Hi, this is Bright Flye." The mare stated.
"Mm."
"Oh, yes, uh, my niece is staying for a bit."
"Sorry, she’s a little crazy. And rude."
"Excuse me? That’s rather rude of you!”
"Happy Hearth’s Warming, Boss."
She hung up, and swore at her boss.
"THAT WAS A CLOSE CALL LAVENDER I SWEAR"
"Fine, let's just call someone else!" She said, picking the phone up again. Her mind changed halfway picking it up, though, and she gave it to Bright Flye, "Your turn!"
