Emma: I wasn’t sure if you wanted something as robust as I have for myself. There’s other companies that are good too if you don’t like the layouts available with the Star Wars covers.

Will: I like them. I asked Charlie to help me pick one out. I can customize it so it won’t be as fancy as yours but it’ll get the job done

Emma: Yeah… I asked her about it and she said she was fine. I can’t tell if it’s just eye fatigue from screens or she needs glasses.

Will: It’s not just the screens though. I’ve noticed she does it when she’s looking at something at a distance. I have a feeling she might need glasses.

Have you and Emma talked about how you two are going to give “the talk”?

Emma has a pamphlet for that I think. It’s not something we’re worried about just yet but as a counselor, she’s pretty knowledgeable about how to present that stuff to kids.

have any of your kids expressed an interest in playing an instrument?

Surprisingly only Evelyn has really expressed an interest. She’s very much like her mother in she likes to do things properly, take lessons and what not. She’s a very zen kid, loves I mean loves yoga and she thinks playing the piano would be another great outlet for her.

Why have you stopped answering questions?

Because I get so few of them anymore, I forget to check and I have four kids who I’m constantly chasing after or chauffeuring somewhere.

Will: I definitely will once we get the kids to bed.

Emma: There’s a couple you could choose from. I wasn’t sure what kind of planner you wanted.

Will: What do you mean? A couple different covers to choose from or a couple different styles of planners?

Emma: It looks like they have a Star Wars line out now. I’ll send you some.

Will: Oh really? I could definitely go for that!

Emma: I’ll have to check the website. I usually get similar patterns every year, so I haven’t looked at their other stuff.

Will: Let me know if you’d find anything I’d like…even if it’s just a solid color.

Emma: I’ll set a reminder for you to take a look when we go in for meetings tomorrow.

Will: That would be great. One thing I’d like to get is one of those Erin Condren planners like you have. Do they have anything that’s not girly though?

We’re making a school supply list. Do you have any requests?

Um…that’s a good question. I haven’t really thought about supplies. To be honest…I have no idea what’s leftover from last year in my desk.

Emma: The kids would probably enjoy a beach trip, especially during the winter.

Will: I think the beach would be great.

Emma: Where did you have in mind?

Will: I’m not sure but not the lake

Emma: Let’s plan to head up a day or two into August then.

Will: I’d like to take the kids on a proper vacation over the holidays.

Emma: Once birthday weekend is over, we have the first few weekends in August open before you and I have to physically be at school to prepare for the year.

Will: We need to spend at least a week up there.

Emma: We’ve got a lot to show for it too.

Will: We do. We need to plan one more trip to the lake this summer.
