Awareness post

Hiya guys! Never thought I’d have to make this post but seeing as there’s been an increase lately, I figured I’d warn people.

Sadly I do not have photo evidence of the topic I am about to cover as I wasted no time in blocking the issue

So lately whenever I’ve posted art and tagged it with #art and lots of other tags, a bot will come into my replies, compliment my art skills, and say things along the lines of “do you sell,” “do you do commissions,” etc. . These bots will then ask you to DM them as well in the reply

As someone who is genuinely trying to find people who are interested in my comms, I nearly fell for it but quickly realized that it was a scam and backed out of it, blocking the bot.

I am making this post in order to spread awareness. Please reblog this post so that people can be forewarned of strange replies “complimenting” your art and asking you to DM them if you take commissions

I know I am not the only one who has this issue. I’ve noticed profiles with the same usernames as the bots that bugged me in my replies in the reply sections of other artists posts. If you see any suspicious looking replies, please report them. They generally tend to have no profile photo if that helps

I know it’s kind of a downgrade from her original design, but I just couldn’t with all of her stripes. I figured it made sense to make her look similar to “Pixie” considering “Pixie” was split off from her

So here she is! If I can get the motivation back, I’ll be starting over the story soon here on this blog! Have a good day!
