Extending my break a bit

Its me, again, hi.

Firstly and most importantly, I wanna wish you a happy Pride! We have come a long way, but there still work to be done. Love, hope, and joy are acts of defiance, never forget this.

Now, for the reason I'm here: I'm so sorry to do this, but some stuff has come up in my life again and I need a lil more time to work through these hurdles.

I'll be brief since this blog isn't for this kinda stuff. I am a child abuse survivor and I have CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder) among other issues like depression and anxiety. Recent events on top of finally addressing old wounds has been deeply triggering and overwhelming. And, to throw jet fuel on top of everything, I got back on birth control to treat a different, almost debilitating medical condition.

Suffice it to say, I'm not doing so well these days haha.

But don't fret, I've been getting help and I am slowly building a support network so I'm not alone in my journey. This work is just very hard and very painful to do, leaving me little time to ponder the Raven.

I will be active on my main here where I will hopefully be back to posting about my minis and soon my crochet. I might also go more into depth about me and processing my CPTSD as well since I need an outlet of some kind. Those posts will be tagged as needed.

As for when I'll be back, I don't know just yet. Its hard to put a timeline on healing. But I know it'll be soon!

Hello!

It's me the lil crow behind the Raven shadow puppets!

I'm going to keep this short since I have written this out two times already and Tumblr has eaten both posts! Yay I love the hellsite's app so much!

To cut to the chase, life has been so much of a drain that I am struggling to RP as your local sad Raven man. I have been for a while, which makes me even sadder because I love interacting with you all and taking on the mantle of my take on Corvus Corax.

But, I need to sort myself out first. I can only hide behind the raven shadow puppets for so long before I am forced to tend to my real life crow problems, like living in the US.

All this to say I'm taking a longer break but come about mid May, I'll be back to posting. I'll be using this time to not only take care of myself, but write out some stuff for Corvus so I can better tell the story I have in mind.

ICE agents forced to flee Minnesota neighborhood due to car alarm alert system

Frustrated Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers fled a Minnesota neighborhood after residents alerted each other by triggering car a

Basically, people are using their key fobs to set off their car alarms when they see ICE.

This is effective for several reasons:

Obviously, it alerts everyone that something is wrong. Given ICE has been terrorizing Minnesota, people are likely to immediately know it is ICE. This gives people time to flee or barricade themselves in their homes.

ICE loses the element of surprise.

If one person hears a car alarm go off, they can trigger their own alarm, alerting even more people, but also making it really annoying for ICE. Annoying sounds petty, but it can be effective. Have you ever been in a building when a super loud fire alarm went off? It's very hard to concentrate. You can't hear much else. You just want to leave. ICE experiences this when a whole street if car alarms go off. Which means they make mistakes.

This was how we were alerted to ICE attempting to gain access to our apartment building. This 100% works.

Is there a way to get you out? Surely, after ten thousand years, there is a way for you to find your way back to your legion

there is no official way back. Only one noted exception exists, as far as I am aware. A son of Guilliman returned to duty with his chapter. This was by primarch's order, overriding normal procedure. it's not been quite as long as that, for me. I am not that old.

Apologies, I do not mean that in bad faith. I've simply noticed a lot of his sons have a strange favor to them that is not afforded to most other legions.

This does sadden me greatly, my son. I don't think my word would be counted for much given my current situation, otherwise I would be working to reinstate you with your chapter.

I remember getting called to istvaan V after worrying news of the Warmaster's strange turn of action at istvaan III, on Dorns orders. I remember some of the travel, though I do not remember making landfall, or any of what may have happened afterwards.

Brother, I do not mean to alarm you, but Istvaan V was a catastrophic loss. You, me, and Vulkan lost most of our legions that day to the damnable traitors, we lost in ways that our legions still haven't fully recovered from.

As you settle in the nest you made for yourself and your little fledglings you ruffle your feathers with them to form a nice blanket for all.Afterall its been quite some long day,though you assume as well you can't tell the time in the warp but nonetheless a long day as you are tired from your pursuit of revenge.

Your exhaustion catches up to you as your many eyes blink,your vision becomes smaller as your eyelids grow heavy.The many slow and calm waves of exhaustion come over your weary body.Once the final wave hits darkness embraces you in its arms as the feeling of your fledglings cuddling up to you fade out slowly.

It is dark at first,like any other time you sleep.You do not think,you are oblivious to anything around you as you truly rest.

But then yours begin to open without your will,your mind is pulled from its slumber and back to being awake.Though this time you only see two perspective view,like you only have 2 eyes yet again before your transformation within the warp.

You now see you are in a forest.Not a dense forest nor a war torn forest.A forrest that invokes calm,nature and freshness.

How odd.

You remember falling asleep as you cuddled with your murder,your unkindness and whatever flock of daemon mixed of corvids you have.But now you are in a forrest,wearing a shabby dark hooded cloak and some robes.

Then you notice,you can't feel your feathers,your tail,your claws nor any of your mutations.By the Emperor it feels so foreign!

What trickery of the Empyrean is this?

Something isn't right.
