I don’t have a lot of Chaos energy…not entirely sure why? It probably has something to do with how I was created. But I can only go super fast because of these air boots Uncle Tails gave me. They help! Other than that, I can barely even summon a Chaos spear.

I am not overprotective -

They’re both equally protective in their own ways! I uh, have a not-so-great history with paparazzi and public scrutiny…comes with the territory when you’re the daughter of famous heroes, heh. But they’re always adamant about advocating for my privacy, and that means the world to me.

Sapphire is our oldest daughter. If she looks familiar, you probably saw when that accursed tabloid leaked our family Christmas photo.

It was kind of funny to have Shads in a Rudolph nose and antlers splashed across the front page…

Or when they tried to stakeout her school and managed to get a shot of her leaving.

Heh. Yeah. You literally smashed the camera over their head. I would’ve gotten it on video if I wasn’t busy pummeling Egg Pawns two towns over!

Oh, um…no, actually. My friend Platinum…heh. He has a pretty major crush on me, I guess, and everyone says it’s only natural to like him back…

But I don’t feel that way, really. I just like him as a friend!

(Fun fact! Sapphire is aroace but doesn’t put a label on it until later on in her teenage years)

This is right when Ruby is first unleashed upon the rest of his family, and howdy boy his uninhibited ass is not having a good time🫠Think radiation poisoning, but with Chaos instead. And because he inherited the immortal genes of the Ultimate Lifeform, he can’t even die. He just suffers - trapped in this warped, misshapen form.

Sapphire on the other hand is at her prime here: she’s taking off with the Station Square junior ballet company, her dads are great (even if they’re pretty busy), and she and her best friends are thinking of officially forming a team! Surely the discovery of the long lost twin she didn’t know she had won’t throw a wrench into things…right?
