Dalton plays a prank on you by hiding ALL of your royal clothes, leaving funny attire, while you are in the shower. You have a very important meeting in 5 minutes. What do you do?
"I would go and steal some of his clothes, and pin or tie them so they fit. Then, I will see him at my meeting. He will know my wrath then."
The Vernal Festival
The Vernal Festival is here in Fyren, as one of the times where the entire nation celebrates as a whole. Many people make a pilgrimage to the central capital of Fyrenius to join the festivities.
The celebration is a four-day festival to rejoice in the return of Spring. The holiday celebrates Nacier, the goddess of Spring and renewal of life, and her two children, Eden and Pippa, the God and Goddess of flora and fauna respectively.
On Thursday, the children spend the day learning about the festival, having class parties, and are released from school early. It’s not common for businesses to close, but Vernal sales are highly common.
On Friday, the Vernal Ball is held on the castle grounds. This is one of the few times when the castle is open to the public. The festivities begin in the early afternoon, and last well past midnight. Food is served all day. Schools and businesses are closed, but the Royal Guard remains active.
On Saturday, Children’s Day is held within the cities. In Fyrenius, the central square is filled with games and activities for the children. Most of the Royal Guard is given the day off to spend with their families.
Sunday is the Day of Service. Gifts and offerings are made to celebrate Nacier and her changes brought upon the world. Religious service is not mandatory, but them temples of Nacier are typically crowded and bustling with activity. Smaller temples to Eden and Pippa are quieter, but some people still bring tributes to the younger deities. Many people begin gardening on this day as a tribute to Nacier and Eden.
(Not the best Idea to shove Jason into a STONE wall, but then again they wouldn't be aware of his magic.) Jason is the most powerful Mage I have met, with a specialty in stone and magma.
//All right. I’m tired of this.
Problem #1: You are always trying to write parts of my story for me, and trying to bend it to fit your preferences. Fyren is an established world that is going to be revealed over time because it is so vast, not a world for you to write your own ways about how the borders act and such.
Problem #2: Fyren was never supposed to have dragons, and you weaseled them in.
Problem #3: you come in saying it’s customary in Mythra to do whatever when we are in Fyren, not in Mythra. Mythran customs do not apply.
Problem #4: you waltz into a throne room and expect them to just listen to you without requesting an audience or expecting there to not be at least two guardsmen around the queen at all times.
Problem #5: you plan to get all defensive because my Warrior did his job. They thought the Queen was in danger, and they performed protocol to protect her.
Jason walked into the throne room, empty except for Dalton, Rouge ad the queen herself, the purple dragon curled around his head like a headband. He bowed. "Excuse me, your majesty, but it is customary in Mythra that the owner of a dragon give them a name during their adolescence."
Ninty, Rogue, and Dalton had been in the midst of a discussion about the upcoming vernal festival when the man walked into the throne room unannounced. Fear flickered across Ninty's face as she stared at the man. Rogue and Dalton moved in sync, the former moving in front of the queen as a shield and the latter taking off at a full sprint. Dalton grabbed the man's shoulder with his left hand, and wrapped his right around around the man's wrist. He bent the man's arm behind his back and pressed him face first into the cold stone wall. Dalton's larger stature forced the man to hang a couple inches off the ground as the Warrior brought down a hefty accusation of endangerment of the Queen.
Rogue looked thoughtful for a second. “I think I would have to say when she is bright and laughing. Especially when he laughs so hard that she gives herself the hiccups.” He added with a smile.
weapon of choice and why?
"I always keep a longsword on hand, but my personal weapon is my trusty bow. I'm not too good at hand-to-hand combat. I mean, I can hold my own, but I'm no where near on par with Rogue or Dalton. I'm much more useful and comfortable when I'm high up and can provide cover for my friends."
6,11 and 12, if you please.
6. What kind of people are you attracted to?
"Um... I guess my type is the typical tall, dark, and handsome."
11. What does the most recent text that you sent say?
"Text? Well, the last message I sent was to Vyyr, asking him to bring his grandson over for a visit."
12. What are your 5 favorite songs right now?
"Well, my favorite songs don't really have titles. They're all just pieces played by the street musicians."
your kingdom is under attack! what do you do?!
The Queen was sitting on her throne, looking pale, but a stern expression on her face. “We fight back, obviously.” Her voice was hoarse, but she refused to step down from a head cold.

M!A Ninty is sick for five posts!
M!A Start!
Ninty sneezed raucously, then held her sleeve up against her nose. "Oh, no..." She groaned, her voice sounded stuffed up. "I hate being sick..."

A thundering noise comes from outside of the castle, quite easily heard by everyone within. Someone began to shout, nearly as loud as the first noise. "Queen Ninty, we Request your presence. We come bearing gifts." The voice was male, yet obviously not quite human, as it was far too loud.
"What..?" The Queen stood up from her throne, quickly climbing her private staircase. She darted to her study, where her balcony overlooked the courtyard in front of the castle. "Who goes there?" She called, her voice echoing powerfully off the stone.
In the courtyard was a sight to see- Two huge, powerful dragons stood there, one a glittering scarlet, the other a shiny white, both had two riders each. The scarlet one had a basket attached to it’s belly. The riders clambered down, and the red dragon spotted Ninty up on her balcony. This one spoke in a female voice, significantly quieter than the first voice, yet still loud. “Aha, Queen Ninty! May you please come down here? That balcony’s a bit small for me to fly up there.”
Ninty blinked stupidly before responding, her jaw hanging open. “One moment!” She responded, before disappearing back into the study. Soon, the large, dark oak doors at the front of the castle were opened with a grand flourish. The Queen stepped out onto the well-beaten gravel path. Dalton and Rogue stood on either side of her, serving as her protectors. She looked up at the dragons, having to crane her neck painfully in order to see them properly. “You asked for my presence? May I have your names?”
The Riders on the backs of the dragons all dismounted, and after they did so, the dragons lowered their heads to human level. One of the riders, covered from head to toe with armor, bearing a red cape and a plume to match on his helmet, stepped forward and bowed. They then straightened, speaking in a male voice. “Queen Ninty! It is a wonderful honor to finally meet you in person. I am the current governor of Mythra, along with most of my associates. My two mounts, Tetrelen, the Iron Dragon-“The white dragon bowed his head. “-and the obviously named Scarlet.” The red dragon spoke, quite cheerfully. “My, my. You never told me she was so beautiful, Hero! Are you sure…?” The Hero cut her off. “Yes, Scarlet, I am sure she has a partner.” His emotion was in Indiscernible beneath his visor, but he sounded quite cheery. “As Tetrelen said before, we brings gifts!” The other three people began to amble over to the group, carrying the basket that was beneath Scarlet.
The Queen have a nod of thanks to the red dragon, Scarlet, for the compliment. Dalton stepped forward to inspect the contents of the basket, while Rogue stayed back to protect his Queen and lover. Ninty stretched her neck to try and see around Dalton, but his large stature prevented it. Instead, she opted for addressing the Governor. “Welcome to the land of Fyren, home of the Court of Stone.” She bowed, putting one hand to her chest as she did. “If I may ask, what is your purpose of visiting?”
"That is the best part, Ninty. Ask the man looking into the basket." Within the basket, were two large Dragon Eggs, one blue and speckled with red flakes, the other black as night. Nestled between the two eggs was a hatchling, sleeping peacefully, it’s skin a purple that matched Queen Ninty’s attire. "I noticed you wear the color purple a great deal, so one of these gifts is specials end for your use. The others you may do with as you please." The hatchling slowly opened it’s eyes, then yawned. It looked up to see Daltos, a large, burly man leaning over him, and it panicked. It dashed out of the basket, past Hero, and into Ninty’s dress, Curling around her leg. Hero laughed, watching the hatchling rush past. "There aren’t many Dragons of his color, Queen Ninty. It took much searching through the Hatchery to find him."
(The hatchling would feel very soft on her leg, because his scales wouldn’t have grown in yet.)
The scaleless reptile wound itself around the Queen's leathered-covered calf, and she looked down. Startled a bit at the sudden contact, but not scared, she stared down at the creature. Finally, she reached down and pried the hatchling off her leg, feeling it start to go numb from the constricted blood flow. "Well, um, thank you, Mr. Hero. I appreciate the gift."
Meanwhile, Dalton's eyes glittered, his face twisted in a sour expression and matched Rogue's, who still stood partially in front of Queen Ninty. "And how do you expect us to care for three infant dragons, once those eggs hatch?Or explain the sudden appearance of dragons to our more... Superstitious civilians. Secondly, you will address her as Your Majesty unless she has given her consent for you to use her name."
"Dalton." The Queen's voice, quiet throughout the entire diplomatic event, gained power, cutting off her Advisor. "Stand down. We will work around this. The Pyromancer will know best how to handle the dragons. He can get help from the Matron should the need arise."

Vent art, I guess? Not very angsty, but still vent art. Tried a bunch of new things, too, like a background, backlit shading, and a slightly new style.
Also she’s an archer. The best in the Court of Stone, which is good because despite having a sword, she’s not very good with it.
This picture came with a bonus background (because I was proud of it), the pencil sketch, and a non-shaded version.

Voice Ask: 1/10
//From now on, the voice asks will be tagged as "#voice of a monarch"
Do you have a sec? How much Secs can you have in a day?
The Queen’s face fell into a pout, and she raised a finger. Then, she bared her forearm, tracing numbers onto her skin lightly. “Um… 86,400 seconds.”
Her eyes widened as she finally got it. "Hang on." Her lips moved soundlessly as she ran over the words in her head. "WOW. To answer your question, let me go get Rogue. Start the 24-hour timer." She called for Dalton, her advisor. "I'm gonna be 'out-of-commission' for a little bit." With that, the Queen disappeared.
//okay it honestly took me this long to figure it out
