“Listen here you! You’ll do just fine! You’ve gotta just buck up that courage of yours and give it a shot! I mean if you don’t try, you’ll never know~”
Shade approaches Miles and calmly gives him a hug before stepping away.
“Tell you what Miles. If you try and join this guild and do your best for me. I promise that I’ll be around to help you out on a mission if you ever need it one day. I might also give you something special once we get to know each other a bit more~“
Shade then returns to face Rime
“My apologies Rime, I honestly don’t know what happened but I remember you now. It’s coming back to me.”
I remember that hug clearly now~“
“Well glad you remember it! Wouldn’t want you to forget my pretty face~” Rime said smugly at Shade.
“Well if you get someone on your team that doesn’t like you, you can always get someone else.”Rime said looking back at Miles.
“And even if that does not work out I would love to go adventuring with you~” Rime said with a grin at the Chespin, looking into their eyes.
“So don’t worry too much about it, just do you best and it all will all be fine.” They said encouraging to the other.
Buck up that courage and give it a shot. If you don’t try, you’ll never know. That was t r u e... It caused the rodent to give a light sigh, rubbing his cheek once and closing his eyes. But taking that first step, oof it sure was scary. What if he wasn’t fit to be an explorer after all? What if he messed up first try? Or his partner was TOTALLY not into his weird self.. Ugh... No, no there was no use in worrying!
“ A-ah, thank you! I would... I would like that... Explore with you two. “ he murmured, prodding fingertips to each o ther for a second with a shy grin before looking over at Rime, nodding once.
You can always get someone else ( Gosh he hoped so, he didn’t want to be a burden to his partner! ).
“ Thank you so much! Both of you! “ he finally called, giving a polite bow. “ I’ll keep your words in mind! “ he added, waving as he started to move backwards. “ I’ll- I’ll be part of a team in no time, you just wait and see! “ added the Chespin with a big grin before he finally rushed off, feeling refreshed and ready to FACE today.
