Hey can I request Kuroo, Tsukki, and Oikawa's S/O having a really tough week, and needing some loving comfort? Fluff:)
Thanks for the request! Sorry for the long wait!!!
Kuroo: You groaned as you unlocked your apartment door and crashed onto your sofa, throwing your work bag onto the floor. It was the worst week of your life. Seriously, your boss could not be any worse.
First, he goes over to your cubicle and yells at you to “keep it neater” when all that’s in it is your bag in the corner, a swivel chair, a couple notes, work papers in short, orderly stacks, and a desktop computer. Then, he makes you get coffee for a meeting he has in 5 minutes, and when you rush back, he sends you to work on a never ending pile of inquiries about the company. When you don’t have it all finished, he just adds more work, and he takes it even further, threatening to demote you if you didn’t hurry with the “quality work that everyone else is doing.” Then when you got home, it was work, work, and more work until you went to bed.
You had to deal with this the whole entire week. All 5 days. On the weekends, you simply worked until your hands and mind couldn’t function anymore.
You didn’t understand how a boss with such a short temper could run such a successful business. The company was dealing with customers all of the time, but with that rotten personality, you were surprised that people didn’t run away from the boss the moment they met him.
Your anger boiled as you thought of project upon project that had been handed to you by your boss and seniors, all of them too lazy to work on these things themselves. Of course, refusing to work on their projects, or doing them half-heartedly could even get you fired from the one company that hired you. You weren’t going to risk that.
You tried so hard to please the company, but it seemed like you weren’t getting anywhere, and just got more work for your efforts instead.
Sighing, you started to reach for your bag. You got to work, getting frustrated, when you hear the doorbell ring. Great, who was it now? You slowly got up as the ringing gets quicker and impatient.
“Lisa, I TOLD you that I wasn’t coming with you to the mixer. For the last time, I have a boyfriend. I know you’re a good work acquaintance, but that’s the one thing I won’t do!” You ranted exasperatedly, slamming open the door.
“Bad day?” A male voice replied.
“Yo. Uh… I brought donuts and coffee, but maybe I should come back?”
“No, sorry. Come in. Please.”
He hesitantly stepped in and took off his shoes at the front door. As he set down the donuts and coffee, you moved your work to one side and then waited patiently. As he made himself comfortable on the other side of the couch, you started to eat a donut.
You sighed contentedly as the sweet treat melted on your tongue. You had barely eaten anything, so your favorite donut was heaven.
He looked at you expectantly.
“So, I’m assuming it’s the boss you’ve told me about countless times?”
“…. Yeah.” You meekly looked at him.
“You poor thing. I’m telling you, you should just get another job, and then once we get married, you should move in with me. It’s okay if I pay for our house.” He sighed.
“No, I want to do this for us! I told you, I want to be self-reliant.” You finished the donut and started to drink the aromatic coffee.
“I know. I just want you to know that if things get too hard, you can count on me. I’ll help you until you’re ready.”
He reached over and hugged you close. Finally somewhat comfortable, you laid on his chest.
He gently started to play with your hair, while you ate his donut too.
“Shhhh. I’ll buy you one. Someday…”
“I love you too. You know I’ve loved you ever since high school when we met.”
“We’re getting married soon right? You promised.”
“Of course, if you’ll still have me. I know that we’ve graduated college already.”
You two started to talk about the future. What type of house you wanted, if you were going to have any kids, if you wanted a pet (Kuroo wanted a cat that had fur like Kenma’s pudding hair.), and if you would move to somewhere in the country, instead of working at a job in the city like you currently were.
The whole time, Kuroo played with your hair as you looked up at his face.
“I should start to work again,” you grumbled.
“No, work on it tomorrow. I’ll even come over to work on my job here instead. Call in sick. We’re going to have a rest day.”
“Okay. you know, you always have the best timing.”
You two stayed like that for awhile, even when Kuroo’s neck started to get sore.
You fell asleep and slept better than you had in days.
He loved watching you sleep, so it was okay.
Tsukki: You gathered your books into your bag, and stood up, internally screaming.
Your head hurt like the devil, you had crammed for a test (and failed the test), and you had only gotten through your first class.
Today was going to be the absolute worst day. Ever.
Sure today was a Friday. Sure you would have some of the weekend to try and relax. But you had been in bad shape since Monday, and it would take quite a bit of rest to get you back to normal. And you knew you didn’t have the time to do that, considering the tests you had to study for and your part time job. Oh, and let’s not forget good old homework. You had a ton of that waiting to be done too. Plus that one project that you couldn’t be bothered to start working on? Yeah, that was due Monday next week.
So let’s just say you were going to be a little busy on Saturday and Sunday. Even if you decided to take a break, you would still stress over your schoolwork and end up just going right back to working.
As you dragged yourself through your classes with these thoughts, a certain blonde kept watching you.
“Oi (Y/N), what’s wrong with you? Think you’re too good for school?” He snidely remarked during third period. But when all you said was a mumbled “I’m fine” instead of reacting to his stupid jabs like you usually did, he got worried.
Not that he would show it. Even if he WAS your boyfriend, there was no way that he, Tsukishima Kei, would ever be able to show affection. Ever. He would not do anything to show how important you were to him. After all, it was his main priority to remain emotionless and sarcastic. He absolutely refused to change his reputation as the snide, smart, dry-humored boy.
“Look, take it easy today. Seriously.” He offhandedly told you as he walked back to his desk. He had been keeping an eye on you all week (he thanked God that you had all of your classes with him,) and he had noticed your oddly pale complexion and glazed eyes.
Yamaguchi, who was also in the same class as you, looked from you, to Tsukki, and back again worriedly. You really didn’t look good, and he wished that he could tell Tsukki to help you out a bit more. But he simply sighed and went to his next class.
You went through your other classes until it was time for lunch. Yamaguchi went over to Tsukishima, while your friends Mikka and Karumi came over to your desk and started to eat in chairs next to you. You half-heartedly picked through your lunch, sighing a bit.
“(Y/N), are you okay? Why aren’t you eating?”
“I’m fine, just not hungry. I had a bit more for breakfast than I usually do.”
“Really? This week had a lot of big breakfasts huh? Well, if you’re sure…”
You smiled wearily, not noticing the glances that Tsukki gave you.
During PE, it was the worst part of the day. Truly, nightmares couldn’t compare in your opinion. Monday through Thursday were okay because they were all the same thing. You broke up into pairs and practiced badminton.
But, apparently they decided that particular Friday was the best day to make the class run. And what’s worse, it was timed. If you fell behind, everyone would know and either think you had a problem (which you did, but you prayed that no one would say anything) or that you had been slacking off. Then the teacher would have dragged you away from the group and made you start over by yourself. Which you really didn’t think you could handle.
“Sensei, (Y/N) doesn’t look good. May I take her to the nurse?” a sudden voice called out. It was a quiet voice, but somehow it was heard over the chatter of the students as they started to quiet down and listen to the teacher.
“Tsukishima-kun, you may accompany her, but I would like for you to come back right away.”
A hand reached to you and gently supported you as the two of you made your way to the nurse’s office.
“I didn’t plan to take you to the nurse’s office. You just pissed me off. You looked too sick.”
“Thanks anyway, but I’m fine Kei.”
“Uh, no, you’re not idiot. Shut up and let me take you to the nurse’s office. I’m making you come home with me, and you’re going to rest and get better, even if it take a whole week. And then, you’re going to promise me that you won’t do this ever again.” Tsukishima said, turning away with pink cheeks.
“No, you’re taking the week off. I’m going to skip the rest of the day with you, I’m going to tell your parents, and we’re going to make you stay in bed. Yamaguchi said he would take notes for us, and the teacher can also give us extra help.”
You didn’t realize one fact even when you went home and Tsukishima stayed with you the whole time you were sick in bed. You didn’t know when he agreed to feed you and cuddle you. And you didn’t realize when he even slept over once and stayed up the whole night to make sure you were okay.
Tsukishima had lied to you.
He had totally been persuaded by Yamaguchi to help you, and asked the teachers and Yamaguchi beforehand about all of the schoolwork you two would miss.
But of course, as he would say, you don’t need to know that.
He even showed all of that affection while you were sick, claiming that your parents had asked him to do so.
Oh, Tsukishima had fallen for you so hard.
Oikawa: You didn’t exactly know why you were so tired exactly. The source of your discomfort was spread out throughout the days of the week.
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that you had almost failed your AP classes and just barely got the college credit that you had worked so hard for.
Maybe it was because of the stress of applying, getting rejected by some, and scheduling interviews for other colleges that you had dreamed of entering.
Maybe it was all of the above. Whatever the reason, the week was filled with anxiety and trouble.
To top it all off, this year was your boyfriend Tooru’s last year in the Seijoh Volleyball Club, and he didn’t have anytime to be with you, or even walk you home. He could barely even find the time to talk to you in between classes, all because of the many practices that he scheduled.
You understood his passion for his sport. Heck, you were the one that had supported him since middle school, and whenever he wanted to quit, you were the one that would boost his love for volleyball again. You loved watching his monster serves and overwhelming talent on the court. But you were a bit lonely, no matter how bratty that sounded.
You had been so close before, always at school together, walking around the school grounds in a pair ( occasionally a trio when Iwaizumi decided to tag along), and now it seemed to others that he was neglecting you.
All you wanted was some form of comfort. Since today was Friday, you decided that you would head home early, canceling your club meeting.
Imagine your surprise when you found your boyfriend waiting at the gate when you exited the school.
“Hey Tooru. No practice?”
“Nah, I told the team I had something that I needed to do.”
“Oh? Didn’t you say that you were going to practice until 8:00 today?”
“Yeah, but I changed my mind. I’ve missed you so much (Y/N)-chan! Forgive me for not paying attention to you this week. We’ve been a bit busy is all! Okay? So let’s go home together. In fact, why don’t you come over to my house? We can work on schoolwork together, and we can rest a bit…. Of course, only if you wanted to…”
“Okay then! Shall we go?”
You nodded and started to head off.
“Wait, (Y/N), I want something from you right now. I can’t wait for it.”
He grabbed your wrist and whispered a quick sorry before kissing you in front of the whole school, hugging you close as your knees buckled.
You had waited for him to do that since Monday.
That was all you wanted from him.
That was all you had needed the whole week.
He pulled away, ignoring your red face, his own blush, and the catcalls and cheers of the other students who had stared at watched you.
“Let’s go to my house now okay?”
You arrived at his house and opened the door, then went into his room.
“Hasn’t changed. Still as childish as ever.”
“Hey! Aliens aren’t childish! My alien movies are very important to my lifestyle!”
You started to take out your work, but it looked like Tooru had a different plan. He gently pulled your waist down with him onto his bed.
“I heard from Iwa-chan how you looked really down this whole week. It was because of me right? I’m really sorry. I promise that I’ll be better. So, I’ll start by doing this and just cuddling you until you get sick of that. Then, I’ll take you out places, and we’ll have fun together. Of course, we’ll watch all of the alien movies we’ve already watched. Then, I’ll kiss you, and if you get sick of that… we’ll see what comes next when we get there!”
“Tooru…. Do you know how much I love you right now?”
“Wrong! I love you so much that you couldn’t ever understand. All I want is for you to stay by my side and never leave me alone. please. “
“Silly (Y/N), don’t you know that you just said my wish out loud? You can’t copy me!” he said teasingly as he kissed your forehead.
You talked and joked around, and you were surprised at how much more relaxed you were in his arms.
You know how he had told you that the two of you were going to work on your homework?
Yeah, that ended up never happening.
Instead, the two of you fell asleep, and Tooru’s parents ended up finding you.
“You don’t think anything.. inappropriate happened do you dear?”
“Just because you were like that as a teenage boy doesn’t mean that Tooru takes after you. It’s just them being cute! Why, I bet they were both tired and wanted to see each other. I’ll go call (Y/N)’s mom, and tell her she’s staying over for the night. We’ll wake them up later for dinner.” Mrs. Oikawa said with a smile as she walked out of the door. You didn’t figure out that she had taken a picture of the two of you until you got married to each other.
Mr. Oikawa simply sighed and prayed to God that nothing would happen yet…but he also felt extremely proud of his son for getting such a cute girl, even if it was his childhood friend.
When you woke up for dinner, Tooru was red in the face and you just stared at Tooru’s mom until you realized that this was the first time that the two of you had been affectionate in a romantic way in front of his parents.
And you mentally facepalmed.
