There he was...
Hung like capital punishment, bloody, beaten to near-death. Kairaxaius knew, through the agonizing pain, that this was the end, as he struggled to even breathe.
But he had just one more thing to say, as he thought to himself.
"My time has come ... early.... I ... took ... a risk ... defending the people. But no one knew who I really was... except for the people I ... cared for. Clearly; someone here .... seriously ... did not care for me. I request ... avengement...
To my friends ... that one song from way back when ... said ... 'don't you worry child.' Today ... heaven has plans ... for me."
Kairaxaius heard the telltale beeping of an explosive device; in his condition, disarming it was no solution. This was the end...
"Nilexs... bibere venenum in auro ....... tempus edax rerum."
The grid went dark.
