I would suggest avoiding subjects of this type from now on. If you MUST know our past, please bring such questions to me. We were not loved by humans. Nor were we thought of as beings with emotions of our own.

We were experiments. Toys. Nothing like being around so-called Trainers or those who claim to ‘care’ about Pokemon. We were objects of their amusement and ‘science’.

Nothing about what we went through was ‘fun’.

Heather is constantly pulling ‘pranks’ on me and her buddy from the labs: Mewtwo (or whatever his damn name is). Usually we end up with more than a few injuries, and the bastard just puts up with it instead of putting her in her place. I don’t give a damn that the kits enjoy her antics, she needs to grow up and stop being treated like some little spoiled princess.

It’s not so much about my floorboards being broken, but that it could injure whatever family wants to hole up in my basement for safety. While I can handle her behavior, they don’t need pieces of wood falling down on them and potentially hurting them.

So I guess the answer to your question is no, the Rattata do not eat my floors. Those are deliberately broken by Heather. It’s my food that I have to watch out for while they stay here.

With Michelle being a Sylveon, she was all too happy to adopt them since she had two children of her own already.”

“I’ve lived in Stardust Village nearly all my life. Started this inn a few years back after Heather and Mewtwo joined us with the increase in visitors. I’ll admit I’m probably not the best ‘mon for the job, what with the ‘attitude’ Michelle claims I have… but someone had to do it and I was getting bored.”

“Besides, it’s fun to cast illusions within everyone’s rooms to… give them a little scare before bed.”

“Damn this hurts. Mind finding something I can use to pry open the floorboards? This broken wood is cutting into my skin.”

Xenos: Sorry, my claw is stuck because of someone, so I can’t really get up to get a look at you. How long ya need to be staying? We’ve got maps of the surrounding area, or guest rooms if you simply wish to stay the night.

Harietta@Heather: What kinds of berries are around here, pun'kin? What ones are your favorite?

Heather: “We’ve got a lot of the usual kinds you can find growing in the Wild, but then we have a lot that some ‘mons brought from their old lives with Humans. My favorite would have to be the Enigma Berry. I can’t put my finger on what it tastes like and I swear it changes. Though Mewtwo tells me I’m crazy.”

“But I think we are getting close to collecting every kind of Berry! Michelle and I aren’t for sure about it though, but we’ve been making sure to keep one bush growing for each berry just so we can keep track. If you want I could show you! I don’t have any with me right now...”
