As for me, I was just another one of their test subjects to create a durable weapon. Although no other Toxic Pokemon is like me, we were all affected differently depending on factors we never got answers to. I dunno how they did it, but I am glad no other Pokemon will be like me...

Cecil: I thought I lived in a flower field. I have very faint memories of a place called the Flower Paradise, but nothing is clearly coming to mind when I think about it. It is a very hazy blur, that seems almost like a dream...

Cecil: The only clear thing coming to me right now is being picked up by a trainer from where I lived. Then I was released here in the city for being a nuisance and being of no use to his team.

Cecil: So I suppose I’ve been to a flower field, I just don’t remember much.

Harietta@Heather: What kinds of berries are around here, pun'kin? What ones are your favorite?

Heather: “We’ve got a lot of the usual kinds you can find growing in the Wild, but then we have a lot that some ‘mons brought from their old lives with Humans. My favorite would have to be the Enigma Berry. I can’t put my finger on what it tastes like and I swear it changes. Though Mewtwo tells me I’m crazy.”

“But I think we are getting close to collecting every kind of Berry! Michelle and I aren’t for sure about it though, but we’ve been making sure to keep one bush growing for each berry just so we can keep track. If you want I could show you! I don’t have any with me right now...”

Just Pet Store Things #23

“Why don’t you have them? You said you would have them!”

I work in a colder part of the state’s and so when we get in guinea pigs, a lot have an undetected upper respiratory infection that after our three day wait period, we isolate all the guineas we get in and treat them. Which takes two weeks give or take.

If anyone has been working over Christmas and after the holidays, they should know how in demand the guinea pigs were.

It was three weeks after Christmas and this woman comes in and asks me about guinea pigs. She says someone told her we would have three out today. None were on the floor so I go look in the back. We have two guinea pigs and both are sick.

I go back out to this woman and tell her we don’t have any available. She gets this nasty look on her face.

“Why don’t you have any? You said you would have them. I promised my kids I would come home with one. You really should have told me before I came out here.”

Well for one we don’t call people for that. So I tell her I’ll call the surrounding stores. All of which are 30 mins away in opposite directions. Both only have one. So as I’m calling, she is screaming over the phone how much this place sucks. I tell her the information and and she storms out.

Moral of the story, don’t tell customers when pets are due out. Tell them to call in a few days.

Calixia@Kuroji: So you mention brothers, that means you guys have parents I'm assuming? If you weren't just spawned in like some of the legends- anyway, who were your parents? Or at least how did you come into being?

Kuroji: “I actually have a photo of them...my mother...you can tell where I got the “hearts” from, but even she doesn’t know where it comes from. My father doesn't talk much...but he’s still a loving father...also a writer. I don’t know how I exactly came to be by the way.”
