Guys. I can NOT stress enough how bad this is on iPods/phones/small devices. The tumblr app crashes easily and posts like these completely kill it! Now. I don’t want to be rude, but I seriously don’t think this is fair to us mobile users, when we only want to scroll through our dashes and then BANG CRASH!
Now, I know this may take a lot of time, but it’s is out of kindness and will not go unnoticed. PLEASE TRIM YOU THREADS!
I know how hard trimming a thread on mobile can be, but it isn’t even really so hard as it is time consuming. But still, it will save a lot of people the troubles of their mobile device crashing.
Now, listen up, you noobs. When you trim a post on a mobile device, you do not reblog it right away, you hit reblog, then save it to drafts. After that you go into drafts, delete the hell out of the part of the post you no longer need, then you do what you must. And if you don’t get your blockquote where you need it, you just insert it. It’s not that hard… HTML codes people! And I’ll even do a tutorial post later! Seriously if you can’t trim a post, then it’s laziness. End of story.
