How flattering…you are aware, however, that such an action would result in your demise?
And I can’t have one of my fervent supporters doing something like that…how else would I boost my ego I mean, *ahem*, what would I do without such kind people around?
Me. (L/N) has just informed me that you meant this as a turn of phrase and not literally. My apologies. Thank you for you continued enthusiasm.
What is one thing Ms. [L/N] does that always shocks you?
She drops by my office, sometimes unannounced, with a collection of my favorite sweets. She’s prone to do this on particularly harrowing days. She has far more work to do that’s immediate and pressing but she makes the time to do such a thing.
So, how did those chicken nuggets taste?
I…am…stunned at how much flavor is packed into these tiny pieces of chicken. How utterly…delicious. I’ve never enjoyed any other food quite so much. Not even those cocktail hot dogs.
Mr Karm do you have any plants in your house/office/anywhere?
I have a bonsai tree on my desk and a large vase of flowers near by office door. The flowers are rotated out weekly and I prune the tree myself.
At home, however, I often kept such things outside, if at all. They’re just one more thing for Esteban to get into and Eugene to take care of. However, I must admit that after Ms. [L/N]’s insistence on “brightening up” our home, we have a few more houseplants or those tiny…succulents, I believe they’re called. Along with a basil plant in the kitchen. It’s…certainly more colorful.

Where do you like to be kissed?
Ms. [L/N] is the sole holder of such secrets.
But I suppose it’s no surprise I prefer my neck and collarbone. Those are common areas.
On occasion, Ms. [L/N] will kiss the tiny scar near my eyebrow, which is quite endearing.
What would you do if you found MC stressed from work?
I would send her to take a warm bath with a glass of wine and a book, and offer to have someone attend to her neck and shoulders afterwards. She asks that I do it unless she’s in severe pain. Usually she talks about everything up until she’s neck deep in the tub and she comes out with a clearer focus. While she’s relaxing, I have Eugene make her favorite food and dessert. She does her best to provide such things for me, after all, and I try to return such gestures.
If I’m able to assist in her assignments, I do so, whether it’s connections or travel arrangements. I will, occasionally, stop in to bring her lunch when she’s on deadline, which is enough to remind her employer that she’s more than her writing. It usually results in her getting an easy week or even a week off after such major pieces.
Coffee or Tea?
Why not both?
I prefer my coffee with only enough milk to take the edge of the bitterness off and a bit of sugar. Tea, however, depends on the blend. Most of the them are better without anything added to them, save honey or a small drop of milk.
I suppose when it comes to flavor, I prefer tea purely for the variety. I have an extensive collection of both that Ms. [L/N] has worked her way through.
Have you ever taken Mrs (L/N) to London or another capital city and what did you do?
London was one of the first trips we made before crossing the Atlantic to return to her hometown. We spent a few days seeing what she wanted to, monuments and museums and such, and she accompanied me to Saville Row to get measured for a new suit. I never go to London without stopping there, after all, much to the dismay of my Parisian tailor. She quite enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes Museum, although given how her career involves investigation, I wasn’t entirely surprised.
She, in turn, has shown me Boston and New York, cities she previously lived in before coming to Paris. She surprised me with a trip to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the site of one of the most famous and unsolved art thefts of all time. New York was a lot of hidden places, such as a tea house and a Vietnamese restaurant that didn’t look like anything of the sort except for a door and a small window. That came with a compromise of dinner at the Ritz.
She’s been planning trips to Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore for upcoming work assignments and I’ve no doubt we’ll find plenty to do.

Oh, Ms. [L/N] is guessing you mean cuts of chicken, like nuggets or tenders. I’ve had neither. However, chicken tenders seem to be made from strips of chicken breast and nuggets are…well…processed meat. I would prefer tenders, I believe, if I were to even consider eating one…

Perhaps one day I’ll consider these nuggets but I liked those cocktail hotdogs a bit too much, I’m afraid. My waistline suffered for it. I wasn’t about to replace my entire wardrobe for the sake of delicious mini hot dogs…

mozzarella sticks or cheesy bread
Ah, I see the fried food trend. This one is much easier; cheesy bread. Mozzarella sticks are messy and are limited in flavor to their coating and the cheese. Bread with cheese allows for more additions to the cheese, plus multiple cheese types.
Ms. [L/N] is now attempting to prove me wrong when it comes to these sticks of cheese. This should be quite…entertaining.
waffle or stick fries
Pommes gaufrettes ou frites…
Waffle fries hold more sauce, so I’m told, yet they’re soggier if not prepared just so. Regular fries are straight-forward but they lack substance, in my opinion. I prefer waffle fries for the flavor combinations and Eugene has finally learned how to circumvent the travesty of soggy fries, if only because of my dear American journalist.

Certainly not. He’s around 26, no? I’m 41. He would have to be much younger in order to be my son. He looks like an amalgamation of myself and Raphael, to tell the truth, which is quite terrifying in itself.
