ugh he spent his whole life saying ‘yes master’ he probably said it more often after he left tatooine than he ever did as watto’s slave the jedi took him from his mother and didn’t allow them to contact each other at all for any reason does that remind you of anything he probably spent years trying to get the jedi council to do something about slavery and finally gave up because there were always more important things and finally we get to rotj when he just seems so defeated about everything and luke tries to wake him up but all he’s got is ‘i must obey my master’
