映画と舞台挨拶、民謡の生演奏。復興と被災したある村の幸せを願う気持ちが込められたドキュメンタリー。逞しい彼らの姿に改めて生きることを問われた気がします。オススメしてくださった方々に感謝です✨ I watched the movie “the most beautiful village in the world” with stage greeting and live music of traditional Nepali music. This documentary strongly wishes their reconstruction and happiness in an affected village. I think their toughness or resilience would ask us how we live our life. 部分的送電停止はネパールの地区に広がっていて、７つのグループで停電が毎日違う時間に行われる。タメルはグループ６。ロンリープラネットのチャットページは旅人向けに現在の状況を追うのに助かっています。

部分的送電停止中、電子機器のためにできること：ケイタイやパソコンの充電に補足充電器を持っていく。停電中に充電することによって機械が壊れてしまうかもしれないのだそうです。ネパールに行ったことのある友だちがアドバイスしてくれました。どうもありがとう！なんであれ、停電つきのネパール訪問は価値があると思う。それこそ経験してみたいことです。

For your electric gadgets in load-shedding: take a power bank to charge your mobile and laptop since they may be broken during charging in outage, my friend who has visited in Nepal advised me. Thanks a lot!

Dangers and annoyances in Nepal, information about theft, crime, scams and how to travel safely

Since first local election will be held on 14th of May 2017 in 20 years, Nepali demonstrations and strikes is called “Bandh” could be happen. During the Bandh, all shops, offices and schools shut down and can turn violent.　Travelers like me should monitor the local media.

A short novels about Leprosy patients’ life:

Although remaining the voice of ex-patients with leprosy would be challenging in Japan. However, other countries are also the same situation. One of the great books 📚 to mention about their short stories is written by Lin Zhoming (林志明) , and based on real of ex-patients with Leprosy in China. It’s quite easy to read, it is written by Japanese, though.

The translator, Jingyin DENG ( 鄧晶音) loves the ex-patients and took action finally - publishing this book! I proud of her and her colleagues. 🤗 Please check it out:)

Spring has come in Tokyo! 🌸Here, at Leprosy sanatorium in Kiyose, Tokyo has blooming cherry blossom and rape flowers!

On 2nd of April 2017, Miyoji Morimoto, who is 79 year-old ex-patient with Leprosy (IDEA Japan) explained exhibition about Japanese Leprosy enthusiastically.

As current situation of Leprosy in Japan, the number of the story tellers, such as Mr. Morimoto, has been decreasing over the past decades. There are two reasons. First reason is ageing in the people at Leprosy sanatoriums: the average of their age is 84 (National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID). Second, the number of new patients with Leprosy in Japan is very few at only one Japanese and six foreigners living in Japan (NIID, 2015).

The Leprosy ex-patients’ stories are to be passed on next generation, but it is the fact that we are less likely to meet them and listen to their voice due to aging the population and elimination of Leprosy in Japan. Some of the Japanese currently attempt to record their real stories.

Namaste! (Hello!)

I'm happy to share my experiences in Nepal from May to July 2017. Since this is the first time to go Nepal, and a placement at hospital in developing countries, I try to track the days from preparation stage to the days in Nepal as much as possible. I wish travelers who are thinking of Nepal and those who might be wondering about Leprosy (chronic infectious disease) would visit and enjoy this site.

Thanks to Dr.M, Mr.R and lovely friends, I've got this chance to explore in situation of Leprosy in Nepal for two months. I hope you can feel Nepal together:)
