India was such a wonderful place to explore! I loved wandering each new city and finding ancient buildings and temples like this one.
So grateful for experiences like these. To be able to travel, to explore even a small corner of the world, and to meet so many beautiful souls I otherwise wouldn't have met. I spent 53 days on the road. Traveling by car, bus, tuk tuk, dirt bike, bicycle, taxi, plane, ferry, shuttle, and on foot. Backpacking solo was a new experience for me, one that I'll keep with me forever. Even though travel can sometimes be stressful and frustrating, I'm super grateful to have explored 5 countries in a magical, tropical land, and to have been fully certified as a yoga teacher while living in the jungle! What an adventure! š (at Uvita, Puntarenas, Costa Rica)
Thereās something amazing about exploring a new country and culture. I spent 3 days in the Amazon jungle learning how to read the plants and animals, and learning what life in the jungle looks like for itsā people.
I traveled down this river in a hand-carved canoe from a giant tree. I still have a necklace made from a seed and itās roots I found on a nature walk, almost 8 years after I made it.
A little bit of paradise while backpacking through Belize
"A new course has been set, and new adventures await me. I go South, to explore lands unknown to me, in hopes of discovering something new about myself, about the world, and in hopes of becoming something closer to a world citizen." - Me, from my travel journal āššš»ššššš (at Santa Ana Volcano)
Channeling my inner granny and continuing on my journey to be fully self-sustainable. Really proud of how this blanket turned out! When I started this project I didn't realize how long it would take to complete, and I was surprised that it became a daily meditation practice. I love being able to rely on myself, and create beautiful things that are useful and practical. Hoping to one day fill my home with handmade items just like this. (at London, Ontario)
An incredible year full of adventure, love, challenges, and growth. How do you sum up an entire year of memories, experiences, and travels in one photo? It's difficult for sure, and these images only show a small portion of the entire year. But the feeling is there, the sense of adventure, the colors of nature and mountains, the spirit of the outdoors, camping under the stars, and afternoons spent hiking. Here's to another year, new friends, challenging experiences, and wild adventures. š (at Canada)

Take care of this moment. It is precious because it is the only moment that matters. There is no past, there is no future. Those are illusory and only exist in the mind. Right now is all you will ever have. So, whatever you want to do, do it now. š Easier said, harder to practice. Iām always excited to be exploring a new country or a new city, so itās *easy* to be fully immersed in the present moment. The real challenge is practicing mindfulness and awareness in everyday life, when you are comfortable with your surroundings, and your routine. ⤠(at Tübingen, Germany)
My 20ās have been a time of self discovery and adventure as much as theyāve been a time of heartache and indecision. Sometimes itās hard to know if youāre on the right path, but all you can do is keep going, make decisions from your heart, and trust that everything happens for a reason. š (at Brandenberg, Oberosterreich, Austria)
Traveling has made me realize one universal truth. That no matter which country youāre from, no matter your social status or background, what language you speak, or even the colour of your skin, we are all human and we all want the same things in life: A safe shelter to sleep, food and water, to be loved, and to have purpose in life. We are all the same, and we should all be treated equally. š (at Idar-Oberstein)
Cheesinā cause itās a new day, the sun is shining, and there are adventures to be had. Too much to see and not enough time! Already planning my next adventure. š (at Rothenburg ob der Tauber)
This has been my screen saver for longer than I thought it would. Itās one of my favourite places I visited on my 4-month Great Canadian Road Trip, and I almost didnāt even make it there. I think thatās why I have such fond memories of that hike. It was an amazing day that almost didnāt happen. Joffre Lakes was a last minute suggestion, and I had no idea what I would find there. I even slept in a car in the parking lot because I hadnāt planned on being there, and didnāt make camping reservations. Sometimes a leap of faith pays off, and sometimes it doesnāt. But you wonāt know unless you go for it! š (at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park)
I feel like Iāve lived many lifetimes these past 12 months. Probably because I had a lot of āfirstsā. First apartment, first time quitting a job, first time sleeping and living in a car, first time living with a partner, first time without a cell phone, first car accident. Another year older, many lessons learned, and a lot of new places discovered. Iām not where I was one year ago. Iāve grown as a person, so much so that I donāt think I would even recognize the me of last year. You never know where life is going to take you. All you can do is try to live a good life, be kind to others, be grateful for what you have, strive to be better in all things, and to let go of what is no longer serving you. Life is a big adventure, and I like to believe thereās always something wonderful waiting to happen just around the next corner. šø (at The Pinery (Grand Bend, On))
I love exploring new countries and cities, but if Iām in one place long enough sometimes things starts to look the same. And while that was definitely true for German castles, it wasnāt true for the rest of the country. Germany is so diverse in its landscapes from the busy city life of its major cities to the stark silence of the Black Forest, from the forested mountains and the Bavarian Alps in the South, to the open plains of North. While superficial and material things can sometimes overlap, nature never lacks diversity, and itās always worth exploring to find out! (at Tettnang)
View from Neushwanstein castle. I loved walking around the mountain side villages, exploring the Bavarian Alps, and roaming the many castles that Bavaria has to offer. Wherever you go, thereās always something new to discover. šš° (at Neuschwanstein)
