When I was a kid we had these illustrated “bible reader for children” books that retold various bible stories in plain language, and whenever a story was like “and then the people grew proud, forgot God, and started sinning” there would be an illustration of people lounging around, wearing lots of jewelry, and eating grapes
I think about this every damn time I pick up a large cluster of grapes
