Howdy all, it's @asparagus-antics! I'm a writer and traditional artist who's been on a long ass break over the past 1 - 2 years or so. I've been writing for a few years before that. I retired an old fanfiction account of mine, where I mainly wrote for the band Ghost! Here is a little introduction for this new account. Skip to the cut below for the masterlist!

I hope to be able to make this blog a new fic account of mine, where I can post whatever comes to mind. My tastes in games, film, etc will impact the characters I write for, as for most.

(Mostly) The Walking Dead - Comics, Series, Games (I've watched the series and played the games, and I'm currently reading the comics.)

Red Dead Redemption II

The Last Of Us (Haven't watched all episodes yet, looking to play the games sometime in the future!)

As stated above, I think I'll mostly write for The Walking Dead, either series or games characters, like Negan, Rick, Daryl, Kenny, Lee, or any characters per request!

I might have forgotten a few things. If I come up with more or something changes, I'll adjust this post. If in doubt, request anyway! If you'd rather I not answer the ask at all, if I'm not okay with it, feel free to state it in the ask!

I do not use Y/N or anything akin to that in my writing. English is not my first language, so I'm sorry in advance if I make any mistakes and errors. I don't mind writing any genders! Wlw, mlm, mlw. I do NOT support my work or any others being made or used by or for AI, nor reposting of any kind onto any other sites/apps.

My requests are open! It might take me a bit to get to writing at first, as I have a busy schedule for the upcoming weeks, but feel free to drop drabble, hc, or fic ideas and requests anyway! I'll get to them as quickly as possible.

I need to note for posterity that I am loving how JDM is playing Negan in Dead City 2x01.

Never has Negan being Negan seemed more like a role, one Negan himself is playing. He smiles, he jokes, he intimidates. But there's no joy, no relishing of his actions. Not the Negan of Seasons 6/7/8. He's going through the motions. He seems more like Joe Kessler on The Boys - that's the way he talks, but he's not living it up when he speaks. His heart is absolutely not in this.

And yet the Croat enjoys it - it's the most Negan he's seen in years but he's so excited to get it back. But he's always had a view of Negan that isn't the truth, an altar he worships at but never really understood

The Dama applauds it - this is exactly what she requested from him. But she doesn't realize she's getting a watered-down performance. Like an athlete above anything she's seen at work before, but nowhere near his personal best.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is putting such thought and nuance into what makes up Negan and goddamn, that is what I came to this show for.

It pmo when people under edits, on twitter or just everywhere say “he killed glenn i will never forgive him” bitch—i just gave you the biggest side eye through the screen. You’re so fucking annoying.

I get why people hate negan, he has done horrible things, and i don’t even want to start the topic about his wives. No, im NOT defending him, but i’m not ignoring his redemption arc and saying he didn’t change, and that he deserved to die. His redemption arc was an amazing character development, i love DC Negan so much, you can truly see his struggle to play on both sides and help Maggie, for—197282 time? And i understand That Maggie will never forgive him, but at least cut him some slack, msf just wants to die atp, he’s so done with yall.

PLEASE get over Glenn its so fucking annoying. He died in the comics too, Negan is alive in the comics too. Stfu.

So many great TWD fans but I swear to god, every Negan related video I see WILL have at LEAST 3 people with the same old same old "I hate Negan" "I won't ever forgive Negan for killing Glenn" THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP AND SCROLL PLEASE! People are allowed to hate him all they want, Jeffrey played him in such a way that it is just really infuriating to watch him do anything, and that's brilliant. Glenn has been dead in every canon TWD universe ever for YEARS. GET OVER IT! Also, SO MUCH HATE ON DEAD CITY. If you don't like the show, share your opinions elsewhere, but most of all, why are you even forcing yourself to watch it? All Dead City edits will also have the "I'm never watching this", the "maggie should kill Negan already", "The only people who enjoy Dead City are Neggie shippers". Ho did the people who posted the videos ask? If the only thing you can do is complain then please go find another show and let people enjoy what they enjoy🫶

“You wanted Negan dead once. Now you want to save his life?” I think this speaks to Maggie’s true humanity; it’s so rare to see the Maggie from season 2 of TWD in her now. She’s changed so much but there’s that bit of her still left, as she said in Season 11. She’s spent ~16 years wanting him to pay for what he did with his life but now she can’t live with what she did to him.

Maggie is so complex and the Maggie and Negan dynamic is one of my favourites. As much as this season has frustrated me at times, I am so here for the complexity of them. I love both characters and seeing Maggie work through how far she’s willing to go for revenge and how Negan can’t fully allow himself to go back to his old ways is so intriguing to me.
