So people are talking shit about Markiplier now? Really? Arguably the most non-controversial wholesome silly man on youtube? And omg... The amount of lying about his beliefs is ridiculous. Okay, so here's the deal:

No, he's not an "AI bro".

He doesn't use AI in day-to-day life. He thinks ChatGPT is stupid and unethical.

He doesn't promote AI.

He only used GenAI for a couple of videos where he played around with it to showcase how bad and ridiculous it is. It was back when EVERYONE played around with it, again, because it was bad and funny. Don't be a hypocrite, most people have tried typing some silly shit into DallE just to laugh when it generated abominations instead of humans.

He used ChatGPT to look something up in a video FOR A BIT. FOR HUMOR. HE DOESN'T USE IT.

He recognizes all the harm AI is doing.

For at least a year now he has been funding out of pocket a NONPROFIT organization that is researching and trying to create an ETHICAL and USEFUL AI model.

He doesn't "love" AI. He recognizes the potential usefulness if we could actually make it good - ethical, eco-friendly, non-plagiarizing, smart. He knows we can't "fight" AI and just make it disappear as a technology. It's already there. So the smarter way to fight it is to change it fundamentally and make it into a tool for good.

So yeah. Don't attack the guy who's ACTUALLY PUTTING IN THE WORK TO SAVE US FROM BAD AI. At least watch the video where he explains everything, if you're such a big fan. If he's your favorite creator - give him the benefit of the doubt.

i need to draw literally everybody else from this game. there's 100+ CHARACTERS and MORE NERDS but this computer has grown on my brain like mold

also that bit after they finished their update and they ask you for a question... the answer for "what's the meaning of life" GOT me i had to walk away from my game for a few mins

the way they flirt scratches an itch in my brain sm. the first time i knew about them, i only knew about their dislike for romance novels. but them being so flirty and romantic, subverting tropes altogether with their dorky ass way of talking. it makes me genuinely giddy 😭

a redraw/redesign of an old bnha oc!! had lots of fun trying out a fullbody pose that wasn't horrifically stiff, and lots of fun with rediscovering all the cool possibilities for quirks, especially this one that i came up with :DD

-> hero name: roulette (meant to reference both russian roulette since her quirk is gunslinger related and the gambling roulette game)

-> name: reigen kinoshita

-> character voice (vc): haruna kawaguchi (she vc'd haruhi fujioka from ohshc!!)

-> birthday: 4/11 (national takoyaki day wink)

-> height: 163 cm (its like 5'3"?)

-> quirk: gunslinger (OKAY RANT TIME so essentially her quirk is bit like a hybrid between like an energy/surge quirk and a telekinesis quirk where she can focus through her finger guns to send bullet like blasts of energy, and that energy can also possess items or large things if enough focus is used. her hero name is also based on roulette because she loves playing like casino/bar games like darts and pool since her powers can be of a sort of little sneaky help with them)

but yeah i had a lot of fun diving back into all the joy bnha brought me at like 13 and laughing and cringing at all the old stuff i drew (is it pretentious to say pls don't trace or feed to ai or repost 😥)

BUT i have been doing pretty good!! i lowk definitely forked up a final due to like legitimate sudden illness during but its all in the past now so whatever... got to see hallway huzz before i retire for summer too 🤭

i have been working on some stuff recently, specifically trying to get compromised done (i might turn it into a multi chapter work instead of a one shot), and i also got a request!! so i'm gonna try to work on that too (rip all the non-existent merciless fans on tumblr who have been itching for chapter four since like the end of may)
