Caution Ahead

My world is going to change. Now that I am a single mom things are about to get alot harder. The father doesn't want his son to leave the state... So I plan on being in this state for a little while longer and get this custody thing in order. Honestly it scares the ever loving crap out of me. The unknown is scary and this is very new territory for me. My hope was that it could happen peacefully but honestly I knew better. The only thing I can do is swallow my fear and handle this head on. Hopefully at some point I can be free and get our lives started. I got this.... I hope....

Blah week...

I really need to do something to just brighten my spirits. This week has just been so beyond blah. Changes still need to take place but I'm still scared of what may happen. Not sure what I am going to do. So much has been on my mind. I don't know where to begin to ease it. There is so much to do. Some times I wonder what I would be like if I just wasn't so anxious and scared about things.

OWIES and CHANGES

I'm pretty sure one of the first things I need to do is refresh myself on how to treat wounds. My son just got burnt minorly and the first thing I did was put him in the shower to run cool water on it. That was my instinct to do but in the back of my mind I felt as though that was wrong. Oh well. He is now squealing on the floor and jabbering to himself. He is Ok at this point. I want to feel confident in what I am doing so I don't feel the need to rush him to the ER often. Second topic of the day and heavy on my heart. Changes will be coming soon. Big changes and I'm not sure how he will take them. I can't go much into detail right now but this is scaring me sh*tless. Why I wanted to start this

Just wanted to kind of explain and introduce myself. I am a mom of a 1 yr old boy. He is my world! I am a normal mom who wishes to be more. I want to be a better mom. I can cook and do crafts about as well as any other person but I just want to grow. I am always wanting to do new projects and learn new recipes.I feel like being a parent is a constant growing experience. I want to provide the best for my son.
