After a tough week of dealing with family issues, emotional obscurity, regret, fear of disappointment, I am tired. I realize that this thing my doctor calls anxiety is not a disorder but an extension of myself. It’s apart of me as much as my Georgetown degree- I earned it. I have days where I feel so successful and can move freely to the sound of music and others where those same tunes that hugged me so tight that my hips swayed to its rhythm causes my chest to hug my heart in protection. Same music, but why does it sound so different? Same tune, but why is it sung so different? Same moves, but why do they feel so different? 

Because I am.
