ASTRO OBSERVATIONS: ꧁FAMILY VERSION꧂
🌱part one.
- Wherever your parents sun falls into your house can reveal what about you makes your parents rethink their values and identities (which can go in both directions if there is not clear communication and maturity). For example, my mother's Pisces sun falls into my 1st house, causing her to reconsider her self-perception. Or your fathers sun falls into your 9th house and you seem to make his life philosophies questionable. Another example, your parents sun falls into your 12th house and they may feel as if you see right through them when it comes to trauma and mental health issues, which can be threatening for someone who isn't mature enough to deal with it. The energy can also function in reverse, because in synastry, the sun person can act as a flashlight, focusing in on the house person's specific energy (in this case the child). However, shedding light on an issue is a neutral act, like opening a book at random. So the sun person (in this case the parent) can have very different reactions to what they see in response. 🏠📚☀️
- You can also use your parents' pluto sign to figure out where there were power clashes in their parenting. It's especially significant because it's a generational marker. As a result, Virgo Pluto parents may have been individuals who believe that "what happens in this house remains in this house." You know, be willing to suffer in silence and pretend as if everything is fine in order to avoid outside criticism (the shadow of Virgo energy). If your parents are Libra Pluto, there could have been power struggles that entirely altered your notions of what relationships should be like. They may have been particularly critical of your appearance (dark side of libra) and the way you presented yourself since they perceived it as a mirror of themselves. You don't need your parents' birth chart to figure out what sign they are. Virgo Pluto people were born between 1960 and 1971. And Libra Pluto people were born between 1971-1984. 🤰👨👩👧👦
- Growing up, children with placements in the 6th house, particularly the moon, mars, Saturn, and Sun, were given an unfair amount of responsibility, especially when compared to their other siblings, if any. They are expected to complete their tasks and take on additional work that is not their responsibility. There is a pressure to do all of this emotional, mental, and physical effort and to not even dare complain about it. 🧼🫧🧽
- those with 2nd house placements, especially Venus, sun and Jupiter could have been the pride and joy of their parents. Their parents wanted to show off how well they had raised them to the rest of the world. The individual with all of the 2h placements, on the other hand, is left trying to figure out who they truly are and what their values are. It's also possible that they were spoiled haha. 🎁💰
- Individuals with Capricorn or Saturn in the third house may be the eldest sibling or have siblings with big age disparities. There is a certain rigidity in the house person's relationships with their siblings, such that they never feel completely free to express themselves and who they are to their siblings and even other family members such as cousins or aunts and uncles. Family members may be considerably more conservative than the house person, causing them to feel constrained or awkward, especially in their youth. 🥀
- Those with Aquarius in the third house may also be the oldest sibling or stand out from the rest in their mannerisms, physical characteristics, learning style, and life ideals and decisions. The interesting thing, however, is that this placement can also show that the aqua 3h person's siblings viewed them as very cool or knowledgeable. The aqua 3h persons sibilings may be intimidated by the aqua 3h house person out of respect and admiration, not neccessarily fear. 🦋
- Uranus in the 3rd house could have been the only child for a while and then suddenly (Uranus) their parents had more children (3h). Or there could be a lot of disruptions and chaos when it comes to the relationships between siblings. A need for consistency and stability in general but still somehow never able to get it 100%.
- I've mentioned it before, but those born with Saturn in the 4th house have had a lot of expectations placed on them from an early age. To the point where, when they try to speak up about it, they are dismissed since everyone has assigned them the position of the responsible one who is accountable for their own family's needs. It could indicate that the family was emotionally unavailable to the Saturn 4th house individual's needs, responding with icy stares and silence in the moments when they required sensitivity, care, and understanding. In addition to an emotionally distant parent, it can also represent an important authority person who has passed away. The energy does not always have to manifest in these "negative" ways, for example, a Saturn 4th house individual could have a wonderful family (4h) that taught them the value of discipline and responsibility (saturn). However, this only serves to demonstrate that energy can emerge in dozens of distinct ways. 🖤
- The position of the sun at the moment of your birth can reveal your father's actions and mental state at the time. For instance, if your sun is in the 7th house you may have been born after your parents wed or your father expressed his commitment (since marriage is a 7th house matter). Or, if your Sun is in the 8th house, you may have been born after your father had a financial boost or even during a death in the family. Sun in the 10th house can indicate that your father was delighted with you, as if you were an accomplishment for him or you solidified his role as a father, perhaps as his first child. Sun in 9th house may indicate that you were born after your father made a significant relocation or that your parents relocated from another nation. Sun in the 3rd house indicates that your father could have bought a new home in a different (and better) neighborhood or boasted about you to all of his siblings. Sun in the 1st house and your father could have had huge changes in his appearance when you were born, or it could mean he was proud of how you looked hehe. For example, my friend's sun is in the 1st house and she is the only girl (and youngest) out of four boys, and her father was overjoyed when she was born. Again, the manifestations of energy are limitless but these are just ideas and examples. 💕
- Saturn can also reveal where your father or an authority figure exerted excessive influence over you as you were growing up. For instance, if you have Saturn in the 1st house, your father may have been a serious person who had difficulty expressing his emotions. With Saturn in the 4th house, he may have been very respected and stern within the family, therefore his words were final. Individuals with Saturn in the 8th house may have had fathers or authority figures who were very controlling and determined to know everything about a situation. In the 8th house, we also blend with others, so with Saturn there, your father may have projected his emotions onto the rest of the family; maybe if he was angry, everyone would be able to sense and feel that he was frustrated. Or there were just a lot sides of him that were hidden (8h). Saturn in the 12th house may indicate a father figure who caused the child emotional or mental distress. The father may have been absent either emotionally or physically. Saturn in the 2nd house could represent a father or authority figure who is a provider (Saturn) but who was insensitive or downright harsh in his communication with you or the rest of the family (2h). Individuals with Saturn in the 7th house may have experienced their father being extremely controlling or strict in their interactions, especially romantic ones. There may have been problems with the manner in which he treated their mother. Those with Saturn in the 5th house may have had a father, parent or authority figure who never truly discussed s*x or relationships with them due to their awkwardness or strictness. Or, you may have simply seen that your father was not particularly fond of public demonstrations of affection. Those with Saturn in the 9th house may have had a father figure who instilled strong adherence to society rules and cultural values from an early age. Or someone with extremely rigid views on how religion should function and what is right and wrong. ⚖️
- The position of your moon can represent your mother's mental and emotional state during your arrival. Moon in the 1st house might show that your mother may have been in touch with her emotions and felt free to express herself during the process (the sign will also add a different energy to it too because Capricorn moon in the 1st house is much different than a sagittarius moon in the 1st house for example). Or, if your moon is located in the 12th house, your mother may have felt lonely or afraid, wishing she had more emotional support. If your moon is in the 11th house, your mother may have felt supported by her community or as if giving birth to you was a dream come true. Moon in the 8th house and your birth could have provoked a great deal of anxiety regarding her capacity as a parent and apprehension since she wanted to do what was best for you. Moon in the 6th house may imply that your mother's pregnancy had an emotional and physical toll on her body. Or moon in the 2nd house, and your mother may have felt that having you was a significant accomplishment, as if her personal value and feeling of self-worth increased the moment she held her baby. 🍼💘✨🌙
- Leo in the 4th house and Leo in the 10th house might be deeply liked and admired by the rest of the family. This is because Leo exudes energy that is joyful, generous, and adventurous. It puts the spotlight wherever it is positioned in your chart. The fourth house represents family, while the tenth house represents reputation. In that same way, Leo in the 3rd house could also make you the favored sibling in the family. 🎨✨
- If Jupiter is in the fourth house, it is likely that you will be favored with regards to your family and home. But jupiter also expands, so you may have had to cope with family members stating that you're too much or that your personality is excessive. It may have been incredibly disheartening, particularly when you were actually not intending any harm and were just being yourself. If Jupiter is in the third house, your siblings may see you as overly theatrical or even your peers in school could have been very envious of your talents and wit. 🎓✏️📓
- If your north node is in your fourth house, you should be very careful of the expectations that your parents and relatives put on you, as well as what you internalize. Even if at first it seems like the easy or right thing to do. Never allow it get out of hand to the point where you're exhausted or going to tremendous lengths to prove yourself and grow in your work in order to establish a name for yourself. You're here to figure out what your own personal values are and how to effectively embody them in your daily life. Not how you can live your moms truth or you dads or oldest sister. Or how your boss or career calls for you to live your truth. No. Your own truth. Create your own reality. ❤️
- those with Scorpio in the 3rd house could recall very intense or frightening moments in their childhood. Or just have been in situations where there was a lot of transformation and change and maybe just too much for a child to keep up with. As they got older and expressed those concerns from their early experiences, they could have received disapproving frowns from their family members or siblings. Their siblings could have also an intense relationship with them. They could feel this sense of their loved ones wanting them to brush things under the rug.
-This sense of secrecy ^ could also apply to those with Scorpio in the 4th house. However this could be a more emotional competent where they felt like a lot of things they were going through could just not be said or had to be processed on their own. Whereas Scorpio in the 3h is more about the conscious mind and what you are actively learning and seeing. And for the Scorpio 3h that could have been a chaotic or intimidating environment. 🥺
- And one more thing on this scorpio energy. Depending on where in the chart scorpio falls, you may have perceived the darker aspects of that reality. These are the areas of life where, if you bring them up at a family dinner everyone will be like, "What? Why do you remember it like that?" and make you feel like you’re some sort of disturbed individual just because you recall certain truths that are unfavorable. For example, scorpio in the 9th house may have seen their religion, culture, or social conventions as oppressive or toxic. And then everyone else in the family or among their peers may have responded with a "What?" Why do you have such a negative outlook? Our community is great.” Alternatively, those with Scorpio in the 12th house might see the reality of trauma, particularly if the axis of the sixth house is Taurus. They were able to connect the chaotic sensory experiences (taurus) from their everyday lives or upbringing to their mental suffering (scorpio 12h). But if the scorpio 12h person were to bring that up with the family, others could possibly try to water it down or be horrified and be like, "What! You're so morbid! it wasn’t that bad." But in reality it truly was for the Scorpio 12h person, especially if they’re experiencing trauma as a child.
