WHO AM I?

I am Assume Your Reality, but call me AYR (pronounced "air"). My pronouns are it/they. I'm in my early twenties and currently live in Seattle, Washington.

As of writing this, I have shifted realities 13 times. Minishifted 4 times. Experienced 100+ lucid dreams. And astral projected at least 15+ times.

Shifting is life-changing. I have experienced beautiful and terrifying things you wouldn't believe. I have overcome terrible trauma, I have manifested a better life here on Earth, I've experienced odd and mind-shattering things that are impossible to explain. But each experience - each shift - has shown me the incredible beauty and power of shifting.

That's why I believe everyone should shift (or at least try to) once in their life. It is certainly worth the trouble. Whether you've been trying to shift for 3 days or 3 years, you should keep at it until you've experienced it yourself. You will not regret it.

I think you found shifting for a reason. I think you found me for a reason. And I think, all things considered, shifting is your life's purpose. We are infinite beings trapped in finite bodies, destined to transcend this primate brain and soft flesh to become gods.

We were always meant to shift. Our system may be designed to keep us oppressed, with our feet on the ground and our noses to the grindstone, but we hold the power within us to see beyond that. We have the power to pursue unconventional things, like shifting, and break free from the stupid limitations shackled upon us.

My goal is to help you shift realities for the first time, and many more after that. In doing so, I hope to contribute to the growing wealth of shifting knowledge on the Internet.

You don’t need the perfect method.

You need consistency.

The Raven Method works. The Alice in Wonderland Method works. Visualization works. Scripts work.

But none of them hold the power. You do.

Methods exist to focus your attention. That’s it. They give your brain something simple to follow while your awareness shifts.

Beginners often jump from method to method every night. That slows everything down.

Pick one method. Practice it. Let your brain learn the pattern.

After you shift a few times, you’ll notice something interesting. The method starts to matter less and less because the real skill is your focus.

Most people who struggle with shifting are trying too hard to force it.

Shifting isn’t about desperation or proving something. It’s about alignment.

When you relax your mind and accept that your desired reality already exists, your brain stops fighting the experience. That’s when symptoms start happening (tingles, floating sensations, vivid imagery).

I’ve shifted many times, and the biggest pattern I see with beginners is that the moment they stop treating shifting like a test they must pass, they finally move.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to let your mind open.

i started using a checklist app (for computers) because i got tired of rediscovering the same affirmations, methods, and intentions over and over again

i just keep everything visible on there now

way easier than trusting my memory when my memory is apparently committed to making my life interesting

Shifting works best when your mind feels safe and open, not stressed.

every few weeks i remember i have like twelve different things i supposedly do for shifting and manifestation and then immediately realize i've been doing maybe two of them. not because i stopped believing in them i just forgot they existed

which sounds fake until you have adhd and realize your entire life is basically losing sight of something because it moved three inches to the left.

i'll have a subliminal i swear by or a method i actually like and then one day my brain just wipes all of it. gone.

that's why i keep a little checklist sitting on my desktop

it's not rlly a productivity thing. cause if it was a productivity thing i would've abandoned it already. it's literally just there because if the subliminal tab gets closed i may as well have never opened the tab. same with intentions, methods, affirmations, etc.

which is also how most of my manifestation journey has gone now that i think about it. just forgetting that i wanted to shift. i'll remember it exists again in like four days and be like "oh yeah"

anyway i just looked at my checklist and found a method i apparently wrote down three weeks ago

Stop asking if shifting is real.

People shift accidentally in dreams, lucid states, and deep imagination all the time.

The real question is:

Why are you assuming it’s impossible?

Your brain builds your reality from assumptions.

So maybe stop assuming the door is locked.

one of the weirdest things that helped my manifesting was realizing i kept forgetting about it.

i'd decide i was living in the end, assume the manifestation was mine, write a script, maybe do the 369 method for a few days, listen to subliminals, and feel good about the whole thing. then i'd get busy with something else and suddenly realize i hadn't thought about it in three days.

i wasn't sitting there doubting it or having a crisis about it. most of the time i just got distracted. i have adhd, so that's kind of the story of my life. if something isn't in front of me, there's a decent chance it disappears from my brain for a while.

after i started leaving reminders for myself, i stopped accidentally dropping everything for a week at a time.

i keep a little checklist on my desktop with stuff like:

☐ remember the assumption ☐ read script ☐ listen to subliminal ☐ stop overcomplicating this

that's literally it.

the checklist doesn't do anything magical. it just keeps the stuff i'm already doing from falling off my radar. so yeah, if you're manifesting with adhd then a checklist might help.

Your thoughts are the cause.

The physical world is the echo.

The echo always comes after the sound.

So when people panic and say:

“Nothing is happening!”

Yeah.

Because you keep screaming the same assumption.

The easiest technique that works

Do this every night.

No complicated ritual. No crystals, no 400 affirmations, no subliminals—NOTHING.

Just bring yourself.

Right before sleep:

Close your eyes.

Replay your day.

Change anything you didn't like.

Insert the version where things went perfectly.

Got rejected? Rewrite it.

Embarrassed yourself? Rewrite it.

Didn't get what you wanted? Rewrite it.

Now feel it.

Laugh if it's funny. Smile if it's exciting.

Then fall asleep while that version is running in your mind.

Do this consistently and your brain will start treating that reality as the default.

And reality eventually catches up.
