Telepathy - The ability to psychically communicate information from one mind to another by means other than the known perceptual senses. This can range from the traditional reading of minds to the implanting of thoughts into the minds of others and eventually extending one’s radius of mind-reading. This could also allow the user to induce addiction, or project thought-wave “static” into the minds of those who try to invade your mind. They could even possibly exercise Psychic Persuasion or a Danger Sense after further practice. (Telephone Telepathy (called Phonopathy or Telepathic Telephony) allows one to get a psychic feeling of who is calling before they tell you; it is a more passive form of Telepathy.) Teleportation - Ability to instantaneously disappear from one place and reappear in another.

Although Sky may be a little shy at first; she eventually becomes more comfortable around those who get closer to her. She may sometimes be a little anxious or headstrong, but she repays with humor, comfort, a shoulder to cry on, and good book recommendations. However, not all her nights are spent at home; Skylar is incredibly artistic and enjoys acting, some dancing, and photography, although a lot of what she does is freelance. Maybe this will be a good break from the little town in Tennessee where she formerly resided. Maybe here, she could fit in in a whole new way.
» Biography «
Skylar was born on a ranch; well, in more technical speaking, she was born on the kitchen table of their house on a ranch. However, sadly for her, growing up the youngest of five children and being the only girl didn’t get her out of milking the cows, mowing the grass, or any other thing the business entailed. As she grew up, she found a love for animals. Skylar adored riding horses, reading while walking in a field with her dogs, raising all the newborns in the spring, and really everything. Needless to say, she has been surrounded in solitude most of her life. In this, she has come to appreciate the quiet moments a little more than the average Joe- or maybe that had more to with her screaming brothers. But something was wrong. She was no pageant girl anyway, but her parents and brothers knew she had some unfixable quirk, some cog in her clock that wasn’t working the right way. In small towns, differences such as this don’t check out. She was out casted. Even so, a couple of her brothers tried to understand. However, as she got older, getting awake got easier and easier, and then a little too easy. When her powers were first being introduced in a more prevalent way she would wake up in places that weren’t her bed. First, it was simple. She was landing across her room and she didn’t have to tell anyone. Then it was the middle of the field, in the barns, on the roof, and under the house. The final straw was her landing on the freeway, miles away from their house. Her parents were terrified to say the least. That’s when the therapy started and even more effort was put into keeping her quiet and normal. That’s how she found her outlets. She loved to dance, play a little piano, draw, but she especially loved to act. Being someone else held a special place in her heart. When she was on stage, she wasn’t a problem child. She was a normal girl. She was herself and an alias all at once. Skylar began to make friends, develop crushes even, though none at this point followed through. She had her life in order, her grades were rising, and even her family was coming around to let her show her face near them. And that’s when the second power crashed in, much harder than the next. Whenever she was nervous, upset, or excited things around her moved but weren’t touched. Seeing as she was attending school regularly now, this was a problem. She was severely bullied and gained the name ‘Matilda’. She was okay with the bullying by now, and the name. But her parents kicked her out. The very next day, a representative of Ms. R’s academy took her to lunch, telling her she was talented and had great potential. It was good that her bags were already packed.
