cuntiness is such an important character trait
Waiting for Space Marine 2 is a new form of torture, the sexy sad men are right within my grasp and THIS MAN
...-shall soon be my new obsession. Look at him! He's so darling. He's my baby girl. My schnookums. My Itty bitty cutsey wootsy wittle man.
I need him carnally.
Everyone’s (least) favorite disgusting freak
I drew the big lady and her quiet roommate.
do you ever become obsessed with a character and you just go "of fucking course its that one" at yourself because you are so incredibly predictable
arts and crafts are killing me. badly
update i’m so powerful i could fuck god if i wanted
this is the experience of being an artist in a nutshell. at all times you are at one of these two poles and you never remember the other exists until it's too late
Everyone is fighting a tough battle so reblog to give previous a sword 🗡️
Anyway.
Very interesting how 40k Slaanesh is primarily interpreted as female, Fantasy Slaanesh as male, and in Age of Sigmar all his pronouns have changed from he/him to they/them exclusively in lore.
I have always said that you can tell a lot about a person by just asking them what pronoun they use for Slaanesh.
I don't like it when people call him she exclusively
I'm pretty new to Fantasy and Age of Sigmar, but my understanding of 40k canon is that it's more complex than that.
The Eldar, who fear her, refer to her a "She Who Thirsts" (and therefore interpret Slaanesh as female.) while the Human Chaos worshippers refer to him as the "The Prince of Pleasure" (and therefore interpret Slaanesh as male.)
And I recall reading at least one book that the appearance Slaanesh takes is whatever the person viewing them would find the most beautiful. So they likely appear female to those who women and male to those who like men. (Or something in-between, if that's your thing)
As for why so many people refer to and make fanart of Slaanesh as female I think it's partially cause the majority of Warhammer 40k fanbase are men (and most people are straight) so a sexy demon lady is obviously gonna appeal to most of them more than a dude, and partially for variety's sake - since the other three chaos gods are all male (or at least, portrayed as masculine) it's nice to have at least one woman / feminine deity in the group, to contrast with the others.
I disagree with the final point, especially when the feminine deity is typified as the 'sex' god. 🥱🙄 That's been done to death and it's pretty annoying how the fanbase interprets him as female even though most codexes describe him as male.
The only reason the fans are doing that is because the immediate equate pleasure to sex ( this alluded to in sources ) and sex with female god. It's flirting with, if not outright, misogyny.
Especially an evil god of pleasure? Yeah, hard pass
It's good to know that I'm not the only one who thinks like that, because same. To be honest I like his female side too but I'm tired of the Slaanesh as she thing.
✨Shitpost✨because I can.
I went to the Experimenta Heilbronn (a Museum) today, sort of touching some gras I guess.
And guess what Chaos and the Chaos gods are following me 😂😅. The task was how I imagine a word.

Excerpt from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1986 written and published by GW. Pronouns for Slaanesh should be a matter of convenience moreso than indicative of anything. That said, all pronouns are also valid because chaos god of excess said fuck it we ball
Those alpha chads complain that GW went woke with the female custodes while Slaanesh is chilling with his fuck gender I'm non-binary or genderfluid.
I love this.
Tyrith Shiva Kyrus, the female Custodes from Warhammer 40K: The Tithes Episode 2.
More of her because why not!
Holy fucking shit...read the footnotes!
Watch the second episode of this epic Warhammer+ animation now.
GW went for the throat 😁
We sometimes call these ‘gaps’ and they are quite intentional. They let you as collectors, players, and fans fill the spaces with your own characters, stories and narratives – making the Warhammer hobby truly yours.
Making this explicit is the best and most transformative-fandom-friendly thing Warhammer Community has ever said. "Please make stuff up so this universe is fun for you" is the kind of shit so few creators ever offer their fans and it's beautiful. brb gotta work on my OC warband.

JUST SAW THE FEMALE CUSTODES IN THE NEW SERIES I'M LITERALLY SHAKING OMG
And because of that Tumblr Warhammer is the best. Because in tiktok I saw someone complain about her doesn't look feminine enough 🤦.
1. She is beautiful and why are they complain about her but a angry old man Fulgrim, Fulgrim who is supposed to be absolutely beautiful, is ok for them.
I just don't understand them and I'm happy about Tumblr.
I did it I painted my first (loyal) Emperor's Children, I just need the transfer sheeds for my pretty boys, but aside of that I'm happy how He turned out. And I need a perfect stage for him because he deserves perfection.
Today's Marine Meat Monday features yet another Salamander: Leodrakk!
Such tragic. Very typical eighteenth Legion.
I like him so much!
