Sorrowful Song: Migru’s Second Meeting
All she needed to hear was the words that her passenger was fine. And with that she picked up speed and began to almost take the road in long jumps as though she was flying but it was the feeling of the wind against her fur that made the ancient feel alive once more.
The tugging on her fur felt familiar, though the human was gentle on her, unlike the only other being to ever ride her back in the day. A clay being from Babylon. She could not help the smile going over her heart. How… strange was it that she would allow another to ride over her.
I am happy that you agreed on this and allowed me into your mind, worry not, I cannot read your mind nor would I unless you give me permission young one. We should be getting soon to the place.
She could not help it as she finally made it to a small shop that was hidden well from most people. The aroma was extraordinary as she would lay her neck down to tell the human that she could mount off, the time she had left was done finally as she began to change back to a human. She would stretch herself as she heard the bones crack at least.
“Thank you, are you alright young one?”
[ ☩ ] - Once the duo had arrived at the designated stop, would Erza remove herself from the beast and look forward at the shop, raising her nose a bit to smell the scents coming from the shop and finding herself rather intrigued. Apparently they were right on the mark in choosing this location as she found her appetite spurring a bit on scent alone.
[ ☩ ] - Watching them revert back to human and hearing their bones snap back into place was almost enough to make her lose her appetite, although being asked how she was, was at least kind of her to do so, Erza nodding her head with a smile. “ It sounds.. odd to say it like this but you are a fantastic steed. I’m quite alright, thank you. “
“ But onto other matters, this does not look like that bad of a shop. It actually looks quite well put together and the smells coming from it are absolutely enthralling. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but needless to say you’v piqued my interests. “
The ancient had been observing the maiden the entire time. Upon reaching the shop and hearing the female’s compliment she would smile to the little one as she looked to the old lady working there and order some of the ‘special’. Sitting down, the age of the woman would show in her eyes as she looked to the woman one more time and smile again.
“Bilgamesh would tell you never to judge anything on the first look”
She spoke in that same sad, nostalgic tone. Her eyes looking at the menu as she ordered wine and began to stir her drink, her eyes on the ripples caused by the stirring.
“You are probably the second person I allowed you to ride on me after Enkidu and Bilgamesh… as for this shop, I have to admit after the feast in Babylon, I have yet to taste something as luxuriously exquisite as those days… but let’s not dwell on the past. We are here to feast!”
She would raise the drink with delicate coarse hands as she gave a glass clank with an invisible being. Her eyes back to the maiden.
“I saw a very familiar face the other day in this city. But sadly the face belonged to someone who was not of my world. Strange how much I just wanted to hug them and kiss them and be happy that they were safe and alive. But I was reminded of my own … blessings… this shop reminds me of the one with Bilgamesh… anyways, tell me more about your world, little one”
