In the Star Trek AU, Aelius is part human, and part bird alien. It’s not very noticeable, but he does have feathers in his hair that just naturally grow there.

Aelius requires supper at eight pm sharp. Your subpar food has already offended him. Do you really want to make him even more upset?
“Bloody hell. I’m so screwed.”
Aelius shifted nervously in the doorway. “Actually, I came down here to thank you for the delicious meal. I really don’t mind what time my food is served, and you haven’t done anything to offend me.” He glanced over at the person talking to Lester. “And I would appreciate if you never spoke on my behalf again.”
Lester jumped a little when he heard the voice banging his head into the nearby frying pan. “Ouch! I meant to do that.” He blinked several times and rubbed the back of his head. Smooth. This guy probably thought he was an idiot by now. “Really!? You like my food? Thanks mate! The name’s Lester…what’s yours? Wow you have nice eyes. They’re like the shiny minerals you can buy in stores.”
Aelius let out a quiet laugh before clapping a hand over his mouth. “S-sorry, I shouldn’t laugh...” Why was being around this guy making him so awkward? “I- I do. I’m Aelius. I-” He looked down and tugged at his bangs. “Really?”

Pyrrhus had just managed to get away from Ignatius recently, and another fire nymph was dabbing antiseptic on the cut by his eyebrow while the god made a face. The fire nymph jumped and ran behind him when Lester appeared, but Pyrrhus, after a moment, stood and approached the god. "Can I help you?"
