“I’m here, what’s w-” Diluc broke off as he heard the soft sobbing coming from your figure. You had been sitting alone in the room after another rough class. Live had just been throwing so many lemons at you, you had no time to recover, and therefore, you spiraled. “Oh m- What happened?” Diluc cut himself off, reaching out to pull you close to his body and cradle you while you cried. You could either not say anything and have him softly comfort you, or vent your heart out to him. Diluc would be there either way, asking you if you’d prefer any advice he could come up with, or if you just wanted him to listen. He’d wipe your tears and rub your back and do whatever physical comfort he can think of to calm you, and once you’ve finished crying, he’ll start spoiling you. You want food? He’s got you. He’ll hype you up if you’d like and take you to get your nails/hair done and remind you of how pretty you are to boost your mood a little. He’ll help you with your schoolwork if that’s stressing you, or even give you study tips/help you study. He doesn’t like to see his lover sad in the slightest, and if that means spending a couple hundred or giving you all his time or attention, so be it.

Cuddling Kirishima Headcanons

He's naturally a physical touch affectionate person, so I feel like he'd probably initiate it first

Kirishima REALLY likes when you play in his hair when you cuddle, especially if you have acrylics on, he'll ask you to scratch his scalp a little

He's like a little cat if you do scratch it. He'll lean towards your hand and his eyes will close and he'll look like he's in absolute bliss

He loves having his arms around you when you cuddle so expect his arms to be around your waist almost at all times

He likes holding you (he thinks its manly and he feels like he's protecting you)

BUT if you get the chance to hold him, he's literally gonna melt into your touch

He likes watching shows with you or eating while cuddling too, I feel like after hanging out with Fatgum especially and trying so much new food, Kirishima LOVES food and just eating in general and he wants to share that with his s/o so he'll bring you homemade meals or something he ordered

A light in the Darkness

Diluc Ragnvindr was a broken man. He operated in a way that kept his emotional connection with people at a distance. He was afraid to get attached again. Afraid to lose again.

Until.

You entered his life with a bang and didn't stop there. Diluc didn't know what it was about you, but he could only sit back and watch helplessly as you wiggled your way close to his heart overtime. He found himself habitually preparing your favorite drinks at the taverns around the same time you normally entered. When you were down, he felt like he'd do anything just to see you smile again. You brightened his world, and had him feeling things he hasn't felt in years and he made no move to stop you. He wanted this. He wanted You.

Being in love was scary for Diluc to accept at first. He's lost everyone he's ever loved. What if he loses you? What if-

You always had your way of calming him when he overthinks. Pulling him close and running your fingers through his hair. Diluc always found it cute how every time you touched his hair, you complimented him on how fluffy it was, and when you ran your hands through his hair, it was like you sapped all his strength from him. He melted, leaning into your touch. He allowed himself to let his guard down around you. To be vulnerable, and to show you sides of him he kept locked away in the darkness. And yet, with each side he brought to your light, you accepted it, and continued to love him. Your words of admiration and love for him never wavered, and they never died.

Years passed, and your love for each other never faded, which brought Diluc to his second fear.

He's thought this over so many times on countless nights as he lay awake, staring into the darkness with you asleep, cuddled into his chest. He wanted this forever, and once he bought that beautiful shining ring he hid under the mattress until the time came, he knew there was no going back. He asked you under the stars after a candle lit dinner on a warm summer night. He thought you'd like it. You've never heard the normally cool and collected man's words hesitate or tremble, yet when he asked you, he was so nervous his words shook, as well as his hands which were outstretched, cupping the ring he was offering you. His promise to love and protect you forever.

Yes. Yes!

Your answer had been yes and he's never felt such happiness before in that moment...Except for when the actual wedding date came, and he saw you, his spouse, walking down the aisle towards him. It felt unreal. He felt like he was in a dream, floating on cloud nine. He barley even noticed the tears pooling in his eyes. In that moment, he only knew you, and his love for you, and he's never been more grateful.
